After I installed it , took my car for a test drive. And the hose came off. Then my car started running hot . 1 stars because I have too or it won’t let me Submit the review. I would not recommend.

when tightening this up on the housing the gasket kept pushing out the top and yes i torqued it correctly it turned out to be that this is thicker than the original and the gaskets wont seat correct i ended up taking the guts out of this and putting in the plastic original thermostat. but the thermostat did work! just leaked and sprayed coolant all over the place... so the part does work but it dont fit correct ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Giving 2 stars because it looks like quality and being aluminum less chance to break like the OEM one. It also comes with bolts needed to install. However, as you can see from the pictures, it has some left over metal where the clip goes to secure the radiator hose. This makes it so that under high RPM and pressure, the hose will come loose. I lost all coolant twice after reconnecting and flipping the clip. I contacted the seller and they recommended I replace the hose as the clip loses pressure. Same deal when I changed out the hose, it was loose. I purchased an OEM thermostat and it seated all the way on that one. ... show more
