I have been using this for over a month now, and in my experience this is excellent hassle-free device for using carplay on motorcycle. Comes with its own mounting bracket which provides 3-axis rotation so that you can have your preferred angle for viewing. Display quality is good with proper visibility under sunlight as well. Functionality wise, once it gets connected to Bluetooth of your mobile, it just seamlessly launches Apple carplay, of course if it is iOS. I have hardwired it to battery by adding the ACC line to headlight plug box. So it starts with the ignition. I received very good support from the seller for all my queries and they are very active on chat channels to resolve the query and also share appropriate pictures for better understanding where possible.

I hooked this up using the usb cable rather than hardwiring. Super easy to install that way. Screen is very clear, responsive to touch even with gloves on (better than the BOSS unit in my jeep). Took it over 200 miles yesterday and it worked flawless. Haven’t had it in rain or hot weather yet, but I plan to use this to go on cross country trip. So far I am very very happy with this. Glad I didn’t shell out $$$ for the “name brand” unit.

I liked the device - easy to connect, easy to operate. However, I returned it becase I did not like the mount - despite multiple adjustment points, it is not as "flexible" as the ball-based mount - my handlebar has a cross-bar, which is too thin to attach the unit, so I had to use the main handlebar, but because of the limited options to adjust the mount, I could not install it around the cross-bar - it was either too low or too high. The ball-based mount allows for a more flexible installation.

The electronics were easy to set up. The time doesn't want to stay in my time zone but when it's connected to my device it picks up the network time. I actually really like it. I want to know what monstrously large handle bars the mount is supposed to go on. I have 2 bikes, one I understand it's specifically for a gps mount but the other is a full on huge 670 pound v-twin. The mount is so huge even with the added spacers that it leaves about 1/2 an inch of play and just doesn't work. I really want to use this I just don't know what other mount would work for it. I literally put about 3/4" of rubber in the mount hole and it STILL is too large to fit on my handlebars, of either bike. I give the electronics a 5 but overall, 3 stars because I can't use it. I have to say after purchasing a very expensive mount this will not work with it either. The original motorcycle handlebar mount is SO HUGE it fits on nothing even with the spacers (that don't fit inside the mount clamp) I really feel like I wasted my money., Now, if I feel like hanging out on my couch and pretending to go somewhere it's ok I can plug it into the wall and make sounds. There was another reviewer on here, what handlebar mount did you have that worked? I have 3 different size handle bars and even extra wide mirror mounts with two different motorcycles, not one will work. What motorcycle brand and size handlebars are used in the video?

I don't want to spend much money on “add-ons” to prevent vibration from harming my phone. This unit is as good as advertised. Easy connection through car play, no extra connections for my helmet speakers, and the screen has a high-quality image. The only area that has the opportunity to improve is an easier way to disconnect the unit from the mount when the bike is unattended for extended periods. I haven't tried too much, so I will update my review

The pros: it does CarPlay on your motorcycle. The cons: 1) No quick disconnect mount. You can't just pull it on or off the bike; bring an allen key or it stays on. 2) It stays on when connected to the battery. The screensaver turns off the backlight, but it will still draw power. Needs a real power button. 3) Hard to unplug / plug. The hardwire cord is permanently attached to the unit, and to plug it into the battery, the chords needs to be aligned and screwed on. 4) There's a hovering home button in the software that you can't get rid, of whenever CarPlay is active. It exactly covers up my compass buttons in offroad apps, and it's redundant with the side home button.
