I used these bars to convert my Road bike to a Hybrid style bike. The 2 inch rise turned out to be perfect. I did not want them up much higher than that. They are lightweight , approx 10.75 oz, finished nicely and sturdy. The dimensions perfect for my application. I did have to replace brakes, shifters and bar grips. The handle bar is very nice. I had a 780mm handlebar, which is too wide for me. 700mm is much better and 50mm rise made the ergonomics better. I might cut it a bit shorter, maybe to 680mm.

Its a good handle bar in all respects but I wish the blue color was darker. There's room for a lot of accessories so I think I'll do just that and there won't be much room for the blue to show through.

First off, the Item was exactly as described. Due to lower back, neck and forearm nerve issues I simply cannot ride any stock mountain bike without creating pain and numbness issues. So when I bought a new bike the first thing I did was to install an adjustable-angle stem riser. It was almost enough but I still needed a bit more handlebar height, which I why I purchased this handlebar. Now after 20+ miles of mountain-biking with no pain/numbness I can say it was well worth the purchase. (One feature I didn't use but I feel is notable, the bar ends are marked with several lengths, so if you wanted to shorten the bar you can do it evenly.) ... show more

I was actually surprised when my bike tech sent me this link for a riser bar to replace my flatter bar that was straining my back and wrists a bit on long rides.
