I put this stem on a Bucklos 20" suspension fork that was marketed for folding bikes. There may be less expensive stems out there, but this one is rock solid and has the right amount of heft to instill confidence in it's durability. It looks great too, which was important for my particular build. It was easy to install, even for an amateur like me. Fit my application perfectly and I would certainly buy again for future builds. I give 5 stars because for the price, theres nothing better. The bolt quality is good and its not exteemely heavy. Theres lettering on the top that seems a little tacky but it deffinatly serves purpose and looks good, seems like it would last a while. Good product!

I decided to actually put some BMX style handlebars on my Fuji mountain bike, however I was in need of a stem that would except a smaller diameter bar..so I found this one to fit the bill perfectly. .I have to add a few stem spacers but that's no big deal. .the black ops stem seems to be built well..and it was inexpensive. . ... show more
