I wish someone would make a higher quality, waterproof throttle, but this was the type that my 4-year-old kit came with, and it was giving me clear signals that it had seen better days. My original kit came with three motor wires on one connector and two voltage display wires on the other. This new replacement had individual wires for the display, so I had to soldier the old two-wire connector on there. No big deal. After installation, the throttle didn't work. After some troubleshooting, I found that the three-wire connector on the new throttle was wired incorrectly from the factory. So much for quality control. ... show more
