Review Image by John P. John P.
The original handlebars on my road bike had drops that came down too low for me and had an awkward shape. I bought these as a replacement because I wanted a profile on the drops which brought them higher in relation to the hoods and overall a narrower handlebar. By and large I'm satisfied. The weight is good, the dimensions are accurate. The drops on these bars are much closer to the hood and now I can ride in the drops much more comfortably. I do wish the ends of the drops were just an inch longer, but it's not the end of the world. If you are a large rider you may find these bars too constricting. I'm 5'5" and 135 pounds, and access to any point on the bars is working for me. ... show more

    • Nice
Size: 400mm Style: 25.4mm Clamp
Very lightweight, they look great. I got the 400mm, I would probably get the 420mm if I could do it again but the bars are nice regardless, sturdy and feel good.

    • Light weight and sturdy
Size: 400mm Style: 25.4mm Clamp
I purchased the 25.4cm 400mm drop bar to change the straight bar on my bike. It looks great on the bike but the bar might be a little narrow for my shoulders width. Haven't tried it yet still waiting on my brake levers to finish up. If you have broad shoulders get the 420mm or it will be to small and not comfortable ... show more

    • Excellent compact handlebar for vintage bikes
Size: 400mm Style: 25.4mm Clamp
My vintage road bike had handlebars that were massive, and the reach was definitely too long for me to feel comfortable. This bar has a shorter reach (90mm) vs. the vintage bars (150mm), and that was the perfect adjustment for me to feel more comfortable on the bike. The compact bar is also much more modern and sleek, and it gives the bike a much better look. It's very hard to find a compact drop bar that fits a 25.4mm stem, and the BNVP drop bar was a life saver. Highly recommended. ... show more

    • Best value for your money
Size: 420mm Style: 25.4mm Clamp
Awesome bars, I put them on an 80s Takara frame and because of the angle of the drop I had to pry open the stem for a couple of extra millimeters for it to go through, but once installed it gave me a lot of control over my bike
