The media could not be loaded. So the positives...the cable is nice and stiff but not so stiff that it isn't flexible. It gives you the ability to shove it down a toilet for example. Having the screen right there is a plus. There are USB versions that connect via an app but it can be a pain along with wear and tear on the USB port. This has a built in light and a few attachments that allow retrieving or manipulating objects in view in addition to an angled mirror. The negatives...really wish this had WiFi, Bluetooth or MicroSD card compatible to make retrieving images easy. Otherwise if you need to show someone something on the screen and they are not there in person, you'll be very unhappy with the product. A 1080P camera doesn't do you any good when you have to take a picture with your camera and it turns out poor. This is by far the biggest failure of this product. If you are using it for business and need to show the client what you found, don't be buying this (so the word Industrial is an overstatement). This is for hobby/home use only. For personal DIY projects. The distance for clarity is around 3". I would think this would have a better macro image capability considering the purpose of this product. I thought it would be good to look at the bores of firearms but there is absolutely no clarity for something close. It does fit down a 9mm (or larger) bore, it does not fit down a .308. It easily fits down a shotgun. But again...the clarity of the image is not capable of seeing anything of detail. If you need to see what is down a drain or what is blocking a toilet this will probably work out great. One more negative. The LED brightness appears to be adjustable, but it is 100%, 80%, 60% and off. And I can't really tell much difference between the 100% and the 60%. I think the software that manages the dimming needs some work for sure. Basically look at the LED light on the end as either on or off and you'll be good. So would I recommend it? Well, it really depends on your needs. If you need something with clarity, something that can export pictures and something that actually dims the light on the end...this is NOT the product for you. If you need something that looks down drains, toilets, around an engine to retrieve a dropped nut and don't want to spend a lot of money...this is the item for you.

I recently purchased this Borescope Camera with Light, and it's the best one I've used so far. The most important feature is the included screen, which eliminates the need for a cell phone app. I also have a borescope that runs off an app, and it is much harder to use due to laggy connections. If you buy a borescope, always get one with a screen like this. The 4.3-inch HD screen provides clear, real-time images without any lag. The 16.5FT semi-rigid cable is flexible yet sturdy, allowing me to navigate through tight spaces with ease. The 8 adjustable LED lights ensure visibility even in dark areas, making inspections much easier. The IP67 waterproof camera probe is perfect for checking pipes and pools, and the included hooks, side view mirror, and magnets are handy for retrieving dropped metal objects. The ergonomic design makes it easy to handle and control with one hand, keeping the screen visible at all times. Using this borescope is a breeze—just power it on and start inspecting. There's no need for Wi-Fi, a cell phone, or an app. The built-in battery lasts for 3.5 hours on a full charge, which is more than enough for my needs. This is a super handy borescope that comes with a dedicated screen and controls. The screen looks pretty good and crisp. You can change the contrast as well as the brightness of the screen. The length of the borescope is definitely adequate for most uses. The only possible "con" might be the business of the dedicated screen. I put "con" in quotes because that may or may not be a con depending on how you look at it and what your needs are. Even thought the screen is a little bulky, the low price more than makes up for that in my opinion. This unit is also rechargeable via USB c port. I've used this borescope quite a bit and the battery has yet to die on me. This is a great choice for a borescope if you're looking for one with a dedicated screen.

I got this so I can look down my garbage disposal to see what’s always getting stuck down there. I don’t like using my fingers because disposals scare me to death. The video is clear. It doesn’t record, but I don’t need it to. I’ve also used it to look in my gutters because a bird built a nest up there and I wanted eyes on it without disturbing it. It’s super easy to use. I see the potential for a lot of uses.

My mom's place had a rat problem but we couldn't figure out where they were coming from. There were a few small holes and cracks in her kitchen cabinets and we were able to use this endoscope to look into the holes and find traces of rat presence in the wall. We were able to know where to set our traps and get rid of the little pests instead of randomly putting them everywhere. This endoscope was extremely useful.
