So I did see others with feedback that the instructions for putting this together were not very clear. I would have to agree with that completely. The instructions are crap. That being said, this is a very simple item and putting it together was intuitive and easy. I bought two of them and had them both assembled in about 5 minutes. As far as the product itself, it works great. It is very comfortable to kneel and sit on with just one of them. Takes away the fatigue of being on your knees for long periods. I got two of them so that when I need to, I can put both knees down on the dirt to get into the garden bed. It works even better with two. I saw some comments about slippage. I garden in jeans and these don't slip at all for me. Walking around in these is a bit of a challenge though. It's less walking and more like waddling. Instructions: 1) Were in broken English. 2) Were full of grammar errors. 3) Had pictures that contradicted the written instructions. The product: 1) Came with 6 extra parts! I.e. Velcro, nuts and bolts. 2) does not hold to your leg, so you Can Not walk around with it at all. 3) seat pad leans you for ward. 4) center brace bar hurts your shin. 5) the knee pad swivels because they didn’t craft it to connect to the center brace bar.     • Build quality is questionable. Comfort seems good.
Build quality is questionable. The bolt holes are off a little and 2 of the embedded nuts had bad threads. I had to use a thread chaser to even get the bolts started. Once you get it together, it does seem comfortable.

    • Works great, terrible instructions
As everyone else has said, the instructions are crap. They are incredibly unhelpful, but the product is simple enough to figure it out without them. Also, the included wrench was the wrong size so you'll need your own for assembly. If you try to assemble it with the included wrench, you won't get the nuts and bolts tight enough and it will fall apart in a few months. As for the quality of the product, the pads are comfortable, it feels sturdy, and at 5'10 with average leg length, the seat and knee pad line up well. The knee pad is long enough that I could comfortably move it up or down my leg a few inches, so it should fit people within 3 or 4 inches of my height. ... show more

It slips down my leg to my foot and bumps the floor as I walk. I'm trying to work out a satisfactory way to hold it up with some type of suspender.

    • They work, sturdy, and comfortable, cushion needed for strap at knee bend
This is a brilliant item. The pads were more than cushiony. I could put my whole weight and “sit” with no hyper extension of the knee. You do bend fully at the knee, but when you sit all the way on the pad, all the weight comes off your knee. The only downside are the straps at the knee hinge. Put a tiny towel of shop rag folded up and no problem. Easy to put together too. Just look at the picture and it’s easy to figure out. ... show more
