  • Good buy
Size: arm sling
It does the job without all the extra material that comes with shoulder brace. Def cooler

  • Worth it
Size: arm sling
The hospital sent me home in a monster! This one is low profile and doesn't announce your injury. I suggest getting two so you can shower in one and have a dry one. I had a mid humerus break and used late in recovery.

  • Sling works great! Directions not so much
Size: arm sling
Obviously from China as the directions are calling the velcro 'glue. Since most of us are smarter than the average bear figured out how to shorten but you will need a setting machine or needle and thread to shorten if needed.

  • Not bad for price
Size: arm sling
My husband likes that it is light weight and easy to fold up. It's not bad for the price.

  • Simple, flexible, comfortable, good value Love it
Size: arm sling
My wife, who ordered this after rotator cuff surgery, says: I ordered this when I was about eight weeks past surgery. The padded sling they gave me at the hospital was great, but I don’t need that kind of support anymore. Other slings I’ve tried in the low-cost range have been worthless. You can’t even keep your elbow in them, and the straps are very irritating. This is so simple, the strap is soft and by far the most comfortable of any sling I have worn. I’m a professional singer, and the drag of other slings’ straps against one side of my neck has added “voice recovery” to the healing list. This strap doesn’t bind, and is wide enough that it distributes the weight of the arm better. I just received it, but I know it’s going to work fine for me. I also like the flexibility of being able to use a second, balanced positioning of it.While that doesn’t show up in the pictures in the instructions, it’s here in the photos on Amazon. Not sure why the lack of English instructions cause a problem. Nope, I don’t speak Chinese. But there are little illustrations that were easy to understand. It provides a very nice level of support, once you no longer need the padded spacer and heavier construction of a hospital-type sling. I don’t necessarily suggest it in an early stage of shoulder healing, where you need to be surrounded by support, and a spacer pad between forearm and ribcage is important for blood flow in healing the shoulder. Since at this point I don’t have to be immobilized or need a waist strap, it’s very easy to slip partway out of it to do the things with my forearm and hand that are OK at this stage. I hope this is helpful to others. I just love this clever little thing. ... show more

  • Horrible
Size: arm sling
All this is is a long piece of a heavy type fabric with velcro on one end. Completely insufficient instructions and a total waste of money. Returned it immediately.

  • As advertised, but has critical design flaw.
Size: arm sling
I wrote a similar review on a competing sling of the same design because I tried both. The product is as advertised - it's simple, unobtrusive and relatively comfortable. But it has a critical design flaw which I didn't realize until I tried it - and may be a show-stopper depending on your need. If you need support for your shoulder by keeping elbow slightly raised, this sling doesn't work. Why? If you shorten the strap, it tends to raise the wrist side. If you want to take pressure off your shoulder by raising the elbow, then you essentially have to hold (force) the wrist side down so that the elbow is forced up. This ends up creating fatigue in the arm/shoulder and it cannot provide support by the arm hanging without effort. Bottom-line - it doesn't allow for shoulder support because the strap cannot naturally keep the elbow up without having to push the wrist down. The material is soft, but is not "tacky" enough to keep the wrist from naturally rotating up. ... show more
