Although this remote looks the same as the Hunter brand ceiling fan I replaced, the button on the remote is hard to press vs the original Hunter remote. Not sure why. Due to this, I can only give 4 stars vs 5 stars. If the manufacturer can fix this, then it'll be the same as the original Hunter remote. If you buy this one, you need to press very firmly on the buttons. If you have arthritis, it'll be a bit tough.

I put off ordering this remote because I was afraid that it would be hard to program. I was so wrong! U just make sure that the 4 prong setting is just like old remote & that’s it! Works like a brand new fan again! I’m so happy!

A more or less commodity product, it works fine. I will probably buy another one soon. Only the "Up light" switch does light dimming, so if you're only connecting one light fixture, use the "up light" lead.

It was exactly the same as the original remote and it worked perfectly. Be sure to check the little tabs inside the original remote before purchasing, just as directed. If you don't and the original is different then you're purchasing the incorrect replacement.

This remote was for a fan that the remote would pick and choose when the light would turn on or off and dim. The set up of this remote allows you to have one button for on/off and one to brighten/dim. The location of the switches on the fan was very difficult to get to in an attempt to double check it was not a DIP switch issue. The remote was easy to match up and works great.
