The metal is Chinesium, the wheels are hard plastic amd the "adapters" are weak. Dont expect them to hold up any more than a 500# bike

These stands have so far exceeded my expectations, the red color offers good visibility and definitely stand out more than the typical black stands- they also nicely compliment my 2017 SV650 which also happens to be red. The hardware on these stands is very high quality and keep everything secure and free of any twisting or bending while lifting and supporting the bike. They are as easy to use as any other wheel stands and have no problem lifting both wheels a few inches off the ground- plenty for storage or maintenance purposes. I have reviewed much cheaper stands, and even though these are a bit more expensive that others, I think they're a better value simply due to their superior construction- Do you really want to put your several-thousand dollar bike on the cheapest stands you can possibly find? Probably not! I definitely trust these stands, they function as well as they look and I anticipate using them for years to come.
