Great item for the garage; but it requires at least 2people. It has multiple pieces so you move it & slide at end but getting adjusted & putting the brush on the other end is pain. But final product is good.

Seems sturdy and is relatively easy to install. A power driver is essential if you are screwing into metal. I used a mixture of liquid dish soap and water to facilitate sliding the rubber seal onto the rail, and it worked very well. I had to install the brush and rubber seal onto the final aluminum piece prior to screwing it in because I had no room on the sides, and then I just screwed that final piece in from the top rather than the bottom. I used this product on a metal roll-up garage door, and I did have to slightly adjust the hole the door latch goes into because this seal takes up a bit more room at the bottom of the door than the old seal I replaced.

This was very difficult for one person to install. Very attention to detail to install it, instructions were vague at best. But end result was good. The seal itself was a bit cheap in quality, maybe with some summer heat it'll form better. Needed this because slab was irregular and I used this to seal garage better.

This garage door seal was just what I needed to fix my banged up old bottom panel that always had a couple gaps and let critters and debris into my garage. I first used a couple of 2x4s and some c clamps to straighten out as much as I could along the bottom of the bottom panel. Then I removed the old track and added this new one. It was easy to cut with an angle grinder and I liked that it came with everything needed to do the job aside from a hack saw or angle grinder to cut the material itself and a drill to screw it in. The quality is great and my garage has never stayed cleaner or drier!

Review is for the 10ft garage door bottom seal kit. When I got mine delivered, it was in a box maybe 3.5ft long. Obviously there was not a 10ft bottom rail in there. What is in the box are 3 each 40" long bottom rail pieces, the bottom rubber seal, hardware, and a brush type seal. I suggest you stretch the rubber seal out in the sun for a while as it is not rolled up, it is folded in two places. I'm sure this will help later on when the seal needs to be slid down the rail track into place. I used a silicone lube spray to help with that task. The rubber is quite substantial and another person to assist will be helpful. Installation is relatively painless. Just screw the bottom channel into the bottom of the door using the supplied screws cutting the bottom channel as needed (my door was 9ft). Slide the rubber seal down the channel (here is where a friend comes in handy) trimmed to length as necessary, same thing with the brush. Done. I wish the bottom rail was one piece instead of three. Not a problem, just my OCD kicking in. I understand the logistics of shipping a 10' box. The rubber seal is MUCH thicker than the OEM seal that came with the door. You may need to adjust your opener if needed. I had to. The kit is made with very good quality components, the rubber seal in particular. It should last for many years to come.
