Shipped same day as order, received in 1 business day friday to monday. Battery is ace, cheapest 52v on market and has held up in a few different weather conditions. Requested a adapter and they included unsoldered XT90 plug w wire, but came with XT60 discharge and 3 amp XLR charger. Recommended.

I ordered a 48V-15A directly from UPP. 2 day delivery, and they picked up on my request in my comments for sending with XT-60 connectors. Good packaging. Comes with a charger and mounting screws and matching cable to controller if needed. Charger looks good and works well. Not real thrilled with the 3-pin charging port, but it is not that important, and perhaps safer than a barrel type. . I was changing from a dolphin pin slide system, so I had to add some rivnuts to my aluminum frame. I like the lower profile of the hl format compared to the dolphin type. Adding the new inserts was easy just using an M5 nut, an M5 bolt/screw and some washers, without buying a fancy tool for one time use. There are lots of examples on YouTube. Anyway, battery works great so far, price is good, and UPP is a real company located in California. Obviously connected to their motherland, but a real presence that has been around for years.     • Good Battery, but I had to open it up and balance it to get full capacity.

48v 19.2ah LG 4800mah cells Good battery. I will buy another when I have the money, but the first thing I will do is open it up and make sure it's balanced. The battery indicator never worked well on the battery or on the bikes display. It would show 5 bars for the whole ride and shortly after it showed 3 or 4 bars under acceleration, the BMS would cut the battery, the display would go blank and I'll be pedaling the rest of the way home. Eventually I figured out how to make the display show voltage and it was cutting out at about 46 volts. I opened up the battery and tested the voltage across each 4 cell series, and one measured .4 volts lower than the other 12. I used a hobby charger to bring that 4 cell series up to the voltage of the other 12, and now the battery is perfect. The battery indicators now work well, I can run it down to zero bars and 40.5 volts (lower if i change voltage cutoff on controller). I can now use full capacity. I'm convinced it was not balanced when i bought it 2 years ago, and the BMS cannot fix one series voltage being too low. I still open it up every few cycles to bring that series up to voltage and it may have a bad cell. I may break it apart and replace a cell or two eventually, but for now its working great as is with a little balancing help. USB plug may or may not work right. I've had this battery 2 years and still working great. However, I probably degraded the cells a bit keeping it fully charged. I can't wait to buy another and see how much better it works with proper care and what I have learned with this one. If you want to get the most out of your battery, don't be afraid to be a geek. If its cutting off at too high of voltage open it up and check the voltages. ... show more

I bought this battery for about $300 2 years ago, charged it up and took about 10 rides. Then I kept it and it would not take a charge, even though the charger is fine. The actual life estimate was 1 to 2 years, which works out to more than $150/year. Had I know that I would never have done the e-bike conversion. These self-discharge very fast. The possible solution is to keep it at 80% charge by charging it on a timer for a few minutes each week. Otherwise it turns to junk whether you ride or not. Very disappointing. ... show more

These people does not sell some 4 or 5 batteries displayed at the shelves. They make all kinds of customized batteries and can get you just what you want. The UPP is a proper battery company and you really should talk to them directly through the amazon email or something else <uppbetter@163.com>. The UPP was very patient and informative towards an amateur like me. Listened to all my talk. Consulted my problems and wishes then showed me the best option available. Which was the best battery at the lowest price posible. So here's my story. This thanksgiving I bought an ebike for the first time to try it. The ecotric fat tire bike 500W motor and 36V 12ah battery. I love it. And I'm really getting into the stuff and its potentials. But because I loved it I wanted more. 20 miles range by throttle was unsatisfying for me. I began considering options such as reaping the bike down to exchange the battery holder or buying another ecotric battery accessory to carry around. I even considered buying a better bike even though it would be a waste of my current bike and my money. It seemed those three were the only options from what I searched on the internet and what a lot of other guys did. I even saw a thread by a guy facing the same frustration and just went on to buy a 48V 13ah Ecotric bike. So yeah, thinking I might try reaping it down, I eventually hooked up with this battery company at Amazon. But an amateur that I am, as I ordered a 48V 17.5ah battery, I found out that the circuits of the bike would not hold it. I went through the cancellation process and as I exchanged amazon filtered emails with the seller for cancellation, UPP kept pushing me to find out what was it that I wanted? As though they could just get it right away. That attitude made me think whether it was possible to just ask for what I wanted. I asked if it was possible for a battery that could fit right into this ecotric bike so that I didn't have to strip it down. They could. Turns out this company has lots of options and they take customized orders from clients. Their tech guys looked into it and immediately proposed this 36V 17.5 ah battery at $ 369 which was less of a price than buying another battery at the Ecotric website for a 36V 12ah battery. Ecotric also said that their batteries were all sold out when I contacted them and it would take 2~3 months to resupply. So a whole lot of people bought the stuff. It came to me last monday which means it took 13days to get here (US). And it works!. It fits perfectly into the socket of my bike. I've been really enjoying the 30 miles throttle the battery gave me at a good price. Anyway I thought I might share this experience to any amateurs like me who faced the same frustrations. That is, buying a good starter bike and wanting for more. There would be many other options for other bikes as well or other electric devices. They have their own tech guys and they will give professional advice to any of your problems you have if you ask them. Thank you. ... show more
