Folded straight up the middle, then rolled and stuffed in a Tyvek type bag. So how am I to get these wrinkles and creases out of it? Not sure. So far I unrolled and unfolded it for about a week. Relaxed some but far from acceptable. Next step: Tried to stretch it out by filing five gallon buckets of water and setting them on each corner. (set one bucket down, pull rug on diagonal corner, set second bucket down, same with the other two corners). Can't apply enough tension to do much. Final step: Apply steam while the buckets were holding the tension. That may have helped some, but that's me being optimistic. To be frank I'm pretty pissed. It's a good looking rug. It is exactly the look I wanted for my home office. But I won't tolerate a wavy creased rug. It's an eye sore, and a trip hazard. Jacking around with this for two weeks because they won't ship it properly. I'd gladly pay more if it means it is properly rolled up and slipped into a shipping tube.

I'm so completely thrilled with this rug. It's a quality product and an excellent deal for $200 - 9x12 is a lot of rug! The fold along the vertical half was a little annoying when it was first unrolled (see photo), but the fold and rug edges settled completely within a week or so. We've been using it for five months, and it still looks brand new. In my opinion, this rug is a particularly excellent choice for a dining room or other environment where much of it will be covered. The design is gorgeous but very busy; I think I'd get tired of it if I saw the full design consistently. The contrast and symmetry are perfect under a large dining table, adding texture and interest without overtaking the room. The tone of grey has the perfect amount of warmth to be cozy yet remain a "neutral" in the room's palette, so you can get away with this striking rug while still being able to play with other colors in the environment - purple tablecloth? why not! Looks great with our walnut floors (grey undertones) and barely-grey walls (Behr Silver Drop). With three cats and two kids under 2, I also appreciate how easily it wipes clean, and the pile is the perfect thickness to be soft under foot but vacuum easily without collecting fur. I'd buy this one again in a heartbeat.

Rug comes tightly rolled up which meant I needed several days for all the wrinkles to loosen up. After about a week and a half, the rug is almost completely smooth. The color is beautiful and I love the light sheen it has against the dark grey leather of my other furniture. The rug looks way more expensive than the actual cost, especially for the 9x12 size I ordered. Worth mentioning: I noticed a very slight odor when I first put the rug down but it disappeared in about 24 hours.

The rug is beautiful and perfect size. I don't regret purchasing it however whoever does buy it I recommend keeping it in a room with less light! When in the light it looks much less detailed and more white. I took a picture from both angles (one light and one dark)

Love the pattern on our new area rug and it looks as good in person as the pictures. We just moved 500 miles away into a new townhouse that the walls were freshly painted a medium shade of grey with dark gray trim, and the floors are a wood laminate in a shade of light grey, so this rug goes perfectly with the other decor. Others complained about the rug being folded upon arrival leaving deep creases in it when unfolded. Mine wasn't too bad because due to it's size (8ft by 12ft) because it came rolled, BUT... they didn't take care in rolling it smooth. Parts of the rug at each end had folded (overlapped) over on itself while the rolling was still in process causing deep creases about 2 feet in length. The creases at one end worked out with walking on it, and due to the rugs own weight, while the other end that gets much less foot traffic still has some small creases a month later. I had no problem getting the curled ends to lay flat when I first unpacked it. I rolled them the opposite way a few times then stretched them and they were flat within 24 hours. For the price you can't beat the look and quality. Overall I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

The main image shown is a bit misleading. In the photo the dark areas look almost black and the rest a medium gray. In actuality the dark areas are a medium and the rest almost light gray. I ACTUALLY LIKE IT BETTER THIS WAY. But if you're looking for the dark/light contrast shown in the main photo you will be disappointed. This is a beautiful rug that we're still after one week waiting for it to flatten out. A 200 lb dining table hasn't been enough. I've tried rolling the edges under so they stop curling up. The only thing I haven't tried is shampooing the rug. Since this is the only rug we have there's no shampooer in the house. The 8x10 is perfect in our dining area for our table which seats 4-6.

Despite reading reviews and complaints about it being wrinkled I regrettably ordered it anyways. Not only were there permanent wrinkles in it, the corners would not lay flat nor would any other part of the rug plus it slid all over my floor when I walked on it. The pattern and appearance looked very nice but aside from that it was worthless . Sent it back before it's caused somebody to fall.

Gorgeous rug! I purchased this rug when we moved into our new home. We have Spanish orange tiles thoughout home and needed a color and pattern to offset it. This rug is soft and warm on the toes. I love it!
