Beautiful, well-made area rug. It's an outdoor rug, but I'm using it indoors because they tend to last longer and wear better. The colors are vivid, but not loud like a neon sign. It arrived securely wrapped in thick plastic with protective end covers for shipping. I was pleased at how carefully it was wrapped and how easily it unrolled and lay flat. I put carpet tape in the corners to help them uncurl and stay flat, but I would have done that to keep the rug in place anyway. There were no bad odors or stains.
