First off this rug is beautiful and soft. Nice thight weave and it feels like a nice thick rug. Excellent value for the price and I could not be happier. That says a lot. Now as far as the color goes I am an artist and I know my colors...the middle area of this rug is not a "light brown" like maybe a paper bag color...The middle area of this beautiful rug is Taupe...which is a neutral color that falls between Brown and Grey. It has flecks of beige in it. It is definitely on the cool side of brown, not the warm side.. It is a gorgeous color. The brown on the border is a true Dark Brown, the color of bittersweet chocolate. So...if you are wanting a rug that is "light brown" in the classic "tan" brown this color will not be for you. I expected it to be the lighter brown, but actually I am super happy with the color that it is. ... show more

It’s not super soft, but it’s comfortable and easy to clean.. the price was fair, especially I was searching for certain colour and wasn’t easy to find it in the stores .. Great buy and came out matching and looks beautiful..

This rug is the most beautiful purple I’ve ever seen. U will need a pad under it to help with laying purposes. I ordered a smaller rug bought a pad and it was still a little too easy to move around on ya. So I highly recommend this rug but in the larger size always using a pad and probably just one leg on another piece of furniture to give it the weight so it’s doesn’t shoot around on u.
