    • Time Tested, Exceeds My Expectations

3 1/2 Year Update: I'm impressed, this rug has exceeded my wildest expectations. I'm hard on carpets, I seriously hate them because I have a history of ruining them no matter where I have lived. I'm a single guy who works and plays hard outside and no matter how much I try not to I seem to carry a lot of the outside in with me. And then there's my dog, my dirty dirty little dog! Carpets don't stand a chance. Most rugs either, but this rug is amazing. 3 and a half years and it looks as good as the day I got it. I vacuum two or three times a month, I should do it more but I'm busy and the carpet doesn't show the dirt. Vacuuming lifts any dirt right up, though, and the weave is still as nice as new. I've bissell steam cleaned it once a year, three times now, and each time it seemed like a lot came up, in one go it was clean and a second pass with plain water come up nearly clear. Simply amazing! For the first time in my life I don't stress out every time I come in the house, and I know my dirty dog is a lot happier now too! 2 1/2 Year Update: I ordered the 10'x13' size rug for my 12x14 bedroom., The rug that I received was 9' 5" x 12' 10". I understand being a couple of inches off on a rug this size but 7" short? It worked out for me, but something to think about. Other than this the rug is fantastic, the colors are still vibrant, the weave has remained tight, and the abstract pattern hides little messes like magic, almost too well. After two and a half years it still looks new, vacuums easily, and hasn't faded or had any other issues. I've Bissell home steam cleaned it twice and that, too, hasn't been a problem. I'd recommend this rug and brand rugmaker to anyone and even now I am looking to buy from them again for another rug if they weren't twice the price now than what I paid. They may be worth $300, that's just more than my budget will allow for. ... show more

I got the 8x10 to replace my old, old rug. At first I had some second doubts if I'd really like it since it is so "artsy" to what I'm more used to. It looks beautiful . You won't get bored looking at the colorful patterns each day. It's very soft and still new to really know now easy it is to clean. It's pet friendly and my cat really enjoys the whole surface. I would definitely get double sided tape after laying out the carpet. It does not curl up but the tape will help edges from catching on your feet. Directions suggest a good outdoor cleaning every 6 months but where I live, that would be too difficult . I will need to spot clean and vacuum regularly instead. ... show more
