We just moved to a new house and I wanted to tone down the modern look of the house since we came from a farmhouse. This rug works well and the colors are really pretty. We are having a harder time getting the folds out which is why I took a star off. I don’t understand why a rug this big wasn’t rolled. What a deal for this rug. Ever rug this size I found wanted a small fortune for it. I understand it takes time and materials to make such a large rug, however, when you are on budget, you are limited. In this rug I didn't have to sacrifice looks for price. The rug is thin, I did purchase a mat to go under it, but the rug is very well made. We have this in our living room and it receives high traffic and still looks beautiful. The colors are beautiful but was surprised by the jute backing. Our old rug had soft cotton felt backing. The rug was folded so it could be shipped. There are a lot of creases we need to deal with. I saw the instructions in the product details but I think it will take more than that.
