I wanted so badly to give this rug 5 stars, because it really is a beautiful rug. The pictures online don’t do it justice. The quality is great. It’s thick. And as far as size goes, I actually measured it when I got it because it seemed so much bigger than what I ordered (the size was correct). BUT when it arrived at the end of August it was in a very tight roll. When I opened the wrapping the first thing I noticed was the smell. Horrible smell and very strong. Next I unrolled it and it had two very severe creases in it. So I laid it out and sprayed it with disinfectant fabric spray which I thought would help the smell and figured the creases would work themselves out. Well it’s been two months now and you can still smell the carpet faintly even though I’ve regularly sprayed it. And after waiting, using bricks as weights and steam ironing them, the creases are just now beginning to work out. It’s a beautiful rug, but I’d definitely think twice before buying it again. ... show more

Mine came folded up which seemed odd to me. Upon unfolding it, there was a shower cap folded within the rug. Looked new but...did I get someone's returned rug? It looked new and there is one wrinkle that is quite deep but it's hiding under the coffee table so I'm not overly concerned about it. It's got a cushy feel and I hope it doesn't wear out too fast like someone else mentioned. I suppose I'm satisfied? Remains to be seen! ... show more
