These kennels bring me tremendous joy each time I look at them. I set them up to mirror each other and they are just beautiful. They make my living room look BETTER. Goodness gracious, I would have bought kennels like this YEARS sooner if I knew they existed. The kennels are the perfect size for my taller dog, she is a blue heeler/lab mix about 50lbs. Magnetic door and latch, looks great and our dogs love it. There is not a metal or plastic tray but our dogs are good without it. It came with a nice memory foam pad that is thick. I measured carefully for the space, we have two small dogs and they have plenty of room in the medium size. It does not fold down. I'll seal the top with sealer just to keep drink moisture from ruining the top. Instead of having an end table AND crate, we have more room with this option.

After spending a ton of time researching, very happy to have found this crate. We have a puppy so I'm using a spare shelf (which happened to fit and was also walnut- lucky coincidence) to gradually grow her space as she herself grows. The quality is lovely, it really looks more like a piece of furniture, rather than a dog crate. Not to mention the space above can be used as a sturdy functional surface, which I'd sorely miss with an all-wire design. I added an LED light strip inside to make cleaning up a little easier, plus a camera to evaluate her behaviors. The metal is fairly sturdy, she's doesn't have the strongest mouth but does chew often. Still, I can't imagine should would ever make a dent, let alone get through them. Assembly was straight forward- following the instructions makes life a little easier. Can be a 1 person job but easier to move with 2. Overall, very happy!

We bought this for our elderly 12 year old mini-dachshund who has been having accidents around the house at night. The setup wasn't overly challenging, once you get the hang of it. Definitely, would have been quicker with another adult helping me instead of my 4 year old, but we got it done! It took about an hour. The quality is good, I like the subtle gray color, and it's spacious for our dog. My only negative feedback is that the latches don't keep our dog contained through the night. He's extremely stubborn and paws at both the front of it and side of it until he can shake the latches loose and open it. So, we use a bungie chord to go around the corner of it and secure both doors. I do like it has side access for when he does #2 in the kennel; it makes it way easier to clean but if you do another version or upgrade, please switch out the latches as they don't stay secure by themselves.

Packed well, not too much plastic or mess. Pre drilled holes line up perfectly. It comes with a cushion for the base. Someone complained about formaldehyde? The sticker says it's compliant to California standards so not a concern. It looks great! I would recommend it! Worth the additional cost. It seems much more cozy, warm, and comfortable than a metal crate. The wood also helps dampen sounds. Only warning is to be gentle with the screws, don't over tighten.

Here’s a few pics of Anita’s new bedroom. I feel like this is a great buy. I can decorate her room for each holiday season, her birthday, etc. I brought the larger size crate even though I have a Yorkie. She already has a small carrying/travel crate, a playpen, and a wire fence crate. I brought this one because of the look. This is perfect because it’s not an eye sore. Now, she can sleep in my room, but without me wondering if she’s going to have an accident. Although she is on her menus and I have her diaper on for that, there is a nice comfy mat that comes with the crate… I may just throw a doggie disposable pad down in there for when I take her diaper off to prevent the mat from being stained. She’s sleeping in there just fine. I threw some treats in there to get her to ease into going in there. Great buy and great value for the price. I paid extra to make sure I got the size I wanted. Anita doesn’t chew on furniture, so I don’t think I’m going to have a problem with her being in there like some other reviews shared. Shopping was delayed by 2 or 3 days, however I still gave it 5 stars because the crate itself is beautiful. I hope this review helps.

UPDATE: my dog was able to pop the wires out of the frame by just pulling on one little piece. The whole “grate” I guess you would call it. 100% not worth the money. When I started putting this together, I realized the gave me an extra top panel. They also did not include all of the screws need to assemble. I contacted the company and they sent me another bag of screws which was nice. However, it still didn’t have all the pieces. It was harder than it had to be to put together. Some of the holes weren’t lined up right or fit the screws. I kinda want a refund, but I don’t want to go through the hassle of taking it apart and lugging it to UPS. Now that it’s together it seems sturdy. My dog is not wild in the crate so hopefully it work for her and as a tv stand, which was the intent. I bet a determined dog could bust out though.

This is our second dog nightstand for our German Shepherds. It is great for our 2 large German Shepherds. The second gate is a plus. I would say it was fairly easy to assemble but I was not in charge, my husband put it together. It has a magnet door and latch. We have not had any problems with those. Luckily neither are chewers so I can't speak to that part. It is a sturdy construction and a good value for the money. We have a 70 lb German Shepherd and a puppy and they have plenty of room in the large. I will say the pad is nice but it didn't last long.
