Love these! As mom of 3 (38 year old) I find it hard to find shorts that are not “mom cut” or riding up my butt. I’m 5’5 and fluctuate between 145-150lb, with my weight pretty evenly distributed, but a touch more around my belly now. I’m pretty straight through my waist/hips/thighs- not curvy, never was even before kids/extra pounds. I ordered a size 7, and they are prefect. I typically wear a women’s 6 (28 inch) in pants. Amazon recommended a size 5, but I decided to size up to 7 for a little more comfort. They are Long enough so my thighs don’t rub and a nice appropriate length for being an adult, but short enough that they flatter my legs and butt which are in pretty decent shape lol. Makes me look a little taller and thinner. I look terrible in Bermuda length or with 6+ inch inseam-makes my legs look stubby. They are low cut/sit on my hips, just below my belly which is comfortable, but I’m a little pudgy around the belly, so I do wear looser shirts with it. The only way they could improve these is to make a mid-rise version, which I would prefer at my age and it holds the pudge in a little better lol. While looking for a pair of white shorts that can be dressed up or down, I came across these. While they do look a bit more casual (as opposed to say, linen or high waist or tie-top shorts) the fact that they have belt loops allows them to be dressed up a bit more. They don't have a ton of stretch but as long as you get the right size you should be comfortable. The inseam is just the right length for us shorties! For all women looking at this, you should be aware that this is sized for Junior. I got the size 11 and it is just right, as I am currently (weight wise) in between a 10 and an 8 for women's sizing. For reference, 5'3" and 150 lbs and the 11 is just a teeny bit loose at the waist but fits great everywhere else. ... show more

These shorts are comfy and cute. I bought a pair for work and a pair for everyday, and I love them. I bought two different sizes, and chose the bigger size because I don't like skin tight shorts. However, they stretch out several inches after only a couple of hours of wearing them. Definitely have to wear a belt. I'm 5'6" and 125#, but I have wide hips and usually wear either a 4 or a 6, depending on the brand. Pre-stretch, the size 7 fit perfectly, but I should have stuck with the 5. Bought two (11 & 13) pair of these to bring on vacation. Ordered 2 different sizes as I wasn’t sure which was to go. They have quite a bit of stretch so don’t size up. I kept both sizes because both can work for me. I’m 5’4 157 pounds. The size 11 actually fit the best. The size 13 is a little loose but comfy. Great looking shorts! ... show more

As I approach middle age, I've stayed away from shorts for the last 10 years. Now I live in the desert and need to have a shorts option so I thought I would try these - FANTASTIC! They are a perfect length - they are nice shorts, modest coverage, without that weird bermuda length. (And I do have long legs.) I'm 5'8" and weigh 150lbs with hourglass figure. I ordered a size 9. They fit perfect, no muffin top. If I wear them a few times without washing, they stretch out a little so I probably could have ordered a 7. But I can wash them AND put them in the dryer and they come back out the perfect size. No shrinking and maintain their shape. ... show more

These shorts fit well are comfortable and flattering. I like the length and the size of the pockets. The only negative I found is that they stretch out a bit after one or two wearings but they are with the price

These shorts have a nice flattering fit. They wash well. I like to iron them to smooth the pockets, but they don't really need to be ironed. They pack well too. They are true to size with a little bit of stretch.

These shorts are wonderful. I bought them in 3 colors. The 5" inseam is perfect and they fall below the waist, which I prefer and are very hard to find. High waisted shorts are not flattering on my figure. The pockets are deep which is great since phones are so huge these days. The only issue I have is that they have a bit too much stretch. Extremely comfortable, but as the day goes on they get too loose. I bought the size 7, I'm 121 lbs and almost 5' 3". I carry most of my weight though the middle, otherwise the size 5 would probably be better, especially with the level of stretch. ... show more
