Starts at the top, covers the backside to the ground and also covers the sides to the ground. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect fit! I washed and dryed the comforter, and it fit well in a normal washer, dried up nice and fluffy and looks GREAT! It's a fairly substantial comforter for the price and is soft, nice and warm but should be all right for summer as well. The stitching is good, and it looks like it can withstand many washings. I was impressed by how quickly it dried and how good it looked coming out of the dryer. Some comforters take forever to dry, but this one, no! Great value for the cost, and I recommend.

I’ve been using these comforter sets for a few weeks now and they have held up well so far. The material is soft and comfortable, and after washing once before use, the comforters fluffed up nicely without clumping. I originally purchased one king-size set, but after regular use, I ended up ordering three additional sets for other family members. All sets were consistent in size and appearance. The comforters are true to size and fit the beds as expected. In terms of warmth, they provide good insulation and can be used on their own in cooler temperatures. I was looking for a comforter only but all I found were 3 pieces. But this one is thin enough to allow air circulation but its just thick enought to keep you want without sweating. I use a comforter all year and I believe this will do great in the summer as well. There were a few stitches that come apart but the overall quality is well made and worth the purchase.
