  • Great
I bought these to replace the factory speakers that came in my K2 phase pro helmet. There are a lot of reviews that mention the size of the speakers, and I did have to do some southern engineering to get these speakers in the helmet, but I rode with them today for the first time and i was very impressed with sound quality and functionality of these speakers. They sounded great and battery life is easily going to last 2 days without charging. I’m super impressed with them and no buyers remorse here. ... show more

  • Great headphones, but missing a major function
I tried these against two of the top competitors (most expensive wireless Outdoor Tech Chips Ultra 2.0 and mid priced wired Wildhorn Alta’s). Pros: these sound amazing (much better than $229 Outdoor Tech and a little better and louder than the Wildhorn), charge via USB-C, have a good battery life and fit perfectly into my Giro helmet. Cons: no charging case like the Outdoor Tech, for additional charge on your trip or the mountain. And the biggest con…NO VOLUME CONTROL (seriously, why is this left off?!) Verdict: if you don’t care about volume control and just want play, pause to have a conversation and all the other standard functions, then these are hands down the best audio quality I’ve heard. They are a little thicker than the OT’s but they aren’t uncomfortable in my helmet. Unfortunately for me, the volume control and audio quality was most important to me, so I went with the Wildhorn and will be returning those and the OT’s. Hope you find this review helpful if you’re looking for on device volume controls, like all other helmet speakers have. ... show more

  • great bluetooth ear set product
this bluetooth ear set is a very good product to have with very good quality sound and BASS unlike other helmet speakers with bad sound quality and has no BASS at all. This is my best investment for biking during busy day with loud traffic sound.

  • There's no way to control the volume from the speakers!
Every time you want to change the volume, you have to take out your phone. This is ridiculous while skiing or snowboard. If they were to correct this, I'd recommend these. The charging mechanism and sound quality are excellent. But because of the volume issue, they are useless.

  • Earbud Saviors
Like a lot of people I bought these cause I was tired of the AirPods putting too much pressure on my ears when I wore my helmet. These are my first pair of ski helmet speakers so I don’t have much to compare it too but I really like them. As far as battery life they’re impressive. I used them from 8AM-4PM and when I got back home it was still showing 70%. I think the sound quality is great especially if you like songs with bass in them. I never maxed out the volume cause I still like to hear my surroundings when I’m on the trails. But when I tried to max it out at home I felt like it was more than enough. The buttons are great and easy to use for pausing and skipping songs. I didn’t make phone calls on the mountain so if that’s what your looking for I couldn’t tell you if you’ll be happy. Every helmet is different but I have a Smith Mission helmet and once I was able to peel the Velcro and play around with the foam padding in the ear pads the fit comfortably. I’ve seen some speakers that are connected but for me I like that these are separate. I bought the extended warranty just in case these things start to give me problems after a few uses. ... show more

  • These sound great.
These sound great. The bass is impressive. At first my helmet's ear flap pressure was repeatedly pushing the buttons, causing unwanted operations (pause, power on/off). I removed material from the helmet flap to resolve that problem.

  • Three stars is generous
I’m being generous with three stars because if they worked well, it would be a really good set up to just slip into the ear pockets. But they cut on and off constantly. All. Day. Long. Even if you try to turn them off bc you can’t take it anymore, they just turn back on. The helmet/ears are not that tight and I don’t believe the buttons are inadvertently being pressed. It just doesn’t stay on. Or one ear connects and the other doesn’t. ... show more

  • Updated review
Ok I'm updating my review from one star to four. I found out that I can get these to charge by using ONLY the cable that came in the box. They don't seem to be universal with USB C cables. I haven't experienced this issue as all my other USB C electronics are not dependent on one specific cable. As far as sound quality and ease of use, these are good for the price. These sound nice and I want to like them however the charging case doesn't work thus making these useless. It's my first time plugging the case in and of course just outside of the return period. ... show more
