  • Excellent UV Curing Machine for Resin and PCB!
I bought my UniFormation UV polymerization device on 11/11/22 and received the device a few days later. The machine was well packed, cradled in the polystyrene foam packing material. After taking the curing machine out of the box, open the lid and remove an additional box that contains the instruction manual, electrical block, machine feet (four total; threaded), and a small bag of screws and washers (one screw and washer will be needed to secure the rotating plate and the additional screw and washer are spares; a screw tool is included). Inside the machine, you will notice the rotating plate; it will have to be removed (no tools necessary) and the protective cover removed. The next step involves placing the machine on its side and installing the feet. This is then followed by turning the machine back over to its operating position (lid side up), opening the cover, and aligning the rotating plate to the rotating motor's screw bracket (it will need one screw, one washer, and the provided tool). At last, on the outside of the machine, it is time to remove the protective covers from the machine. Finally, find the curing machine a nice place and plug in the electrical block. The manual contains instructions for selecting the nine curing modes. Even though this machine was created to cure resin, I also used it to cure my PCBs (printed circuit boards; double-sided). The UV lights on the machine's lower section have allowed me to avoid overcuring my PCBs because I don't have to flip over the PCB and re-cure (other machines I've used had uv reflection exposure due to multiple mirrors used within the machine). In addition, as I have learned over the years, the more hardened the ink on the PCB, the greater its ability to burn through copper. Enough with the PCBs, and back to resin. This machine has been amazing at curing my prints by providing UV-A radiation (exactly like the sun). The process of using this curing machine enables resin to be uniformly hardened on the top, sides, and bottom. You probably wonder why I would need this machine since I have written that the sun emits UV-A, which can process the resin. Well, the sun also emits UV-B and UV-C, and when resin is exposed to these 3 UVs, the resin will be cured unevenly, become brittle, get sunburned, and take more time to cure. At the end of the day, this machine enabled me to effectively cure my projects in a matter of minutes. ... show more

  • Best Large UV curing
I got this due to getting the GK Two and printing larger parts than I have previously done on my Saturn printer and needed a bigger unit. This unit is very well made and have had no issues with it curing large 250mm figure pieces and anything else I have thrown at it. These complaints about the switch I am not sure about unless you are needless letting the lid slam you will eventually break the micro switch. I have had this machine for awhile now and I couldn't be happier with it and my GK Two printer, and cleaning station all have made my life a lot easier printing the larger scale resin busts and figures. Awesome job Uniformation! ... show more

  • This seems very nice and sturdy
This unit works great. Very well built. Really solid. little to almost no assembly. My prints are nice and flat with almost no curl or distortion. My only issue is there is no directions for any of it. I am happy with my purchase but would like a way to know how to set the timer presets for different pieces. ... show more

  • Great for my printer
Does an excellent job, sometimes I do have to use this twice on some of my water based resin prints.

  • Not made well
I have had several issues, fist the door switch quit working, I bypassed it as I am smart enough not to open it while running or start it while open but I understand it should be there. Now that was annoying but the wire for the LED array for the top lights broke clean in half, this is due to cheap wire used and constantly flexing when opening and closing the door. I repaired it myself, but its a matter of time before it happens again. When it does happen again I will replace the wires with silicone wires hopefully that will last longer. Now the new controls are probably a lot better, but the first gen are awful, hard to adjust and tons of steps to get it where you want it, and then to change the time for a different resin is a complete challenge. They did this on the cheap and it shows, but they dont charge on the cheap, yeah its big, but the LED arrays are very similar to what everyone else has power wise and the motor is a cheap DC motor not a stepper. The table doesnt secure well and always backs out, if you tighten it enough to hold it binds the table. Its big and has LED's above and below the side LED's probably could use a better location but it works. Also add a lip to the outside of the turntable, if you have round small pieces they will roll off and can roll under the turntable causing more frustration. ... show more

  • Great curing machine and very large curing plate
Great curing machine also has a large plate. I print gunpla model kit weapons. And some around 11 inches long. This solves that problem. And you can place multiple pieces at the same time I have upgraded from mercury 2 in 1 machine to this single unit and its a great trade off. Curing more in less time. ... show more

  • Device Not Safe
There is a limit switch on the top portion of the cure machine that can be accidentally switched in the event, causing the UV lights to illuminate with the machine wide open. This is NOT safe and can cause serious blindness. Why is safety not the number one priority of this product??? Any other UV cure station has adequate safety controls...save yourself time and do not purchase this. Save the medical expenses and find something that meets regulations... ... show more
