I simply want to say that this lightweight faux fur blanket is AMAZING! I LOVE IT. I have tried so many throw type blankets over the last decade, and they are all piled in my linen closet or boxed away in a wooden chest. Now that I think I have found perfection (or seriously close to it) in a lightweight throw blanket that delivers with an ample size, I need to donate all these other blankets taking up space in my adobe. I am not kidding when I say I have found the closet thing to perfection for a mere one hundred dollars. Now, to be fair, there may be a $1000 blanket out there that is amazing too, but for this price point, this blanket takes the cake. This blanket, which hooked me from the beginning because of its immense size, is a newly discovered treasure. It is, without question, the coziest, softest, and lightest blanket that I have ever purchased. I mention lightest because I become hot under the covers easily, even with the house temperature at 68 degrees, I can feel too warm. However, this lightweight blanket (there is a heavy-weight blanket too), is the perfect weight for me. I know the heavyweight blanket would feel oppressive, but for women especially who seem more sensitive to cold (my experience), I am pretty sure that the heavyweight blanket, which is double the thickness of the lightweight (based on the photos above), is phenomenal. It is more expensive; I think it is double the price, but I am confident to say that it is absolutely worth it if it is anything like the lightweight version. I went with the greige or marshmallow color (I think marshmallow was used somewhere to describe the color), though I know greige was definitely used. I really like the color too. So, seriously, treat yourself to this delightful blanket that you can wrap around yourself because it is that big. Read a book, take a little nap, or go all in and sleep with it by your face, so you can feel the softness. This is a must-have item, in my opinion. If you have a spouse, I am warning you ahead of time that there might be issues on sharing the blanket. It is bound to happen, so prepare yourself for it. You may end up with two of these blankets in the end, or more, if you have kids and they touch the blanket. It will be like them touching something magical that they will want to wrap around themselves, and not want to give up. But, hey, I gave you the heads-up about the blanket being special, so you cannot be mad with me for introducing you to this blanket. I will end by saying, I hope you really enjoy this blanket, but I already know you will love it, and thank me for steering you into this purchase. You are so welcome. I enjoy making people happy:) P.S. Oh, yeah, I absolutely did not receive any incentive to write the review, in case you are like this is a really glowing over-the-top review, it cannot be true. I have purchased 4 of these blankets in this particular throw size, and 3 of the larger heavier blankets that are 100” in size. And I have purchased 5 different colors. I personally prefer the Dune and the charcoal color, and this soft pink color. The throw size will work great for a twin mattress coverlet. It may even work for a double bed if you don’t need much hangover the edge. The 100” size is plenty big for a queen and just enough for a king mattress coverlet. I’m using mine on a queen and it has the right amount of hang off to cover the mattress sides entirely. While I do love the softness of these and is precisely why I purchased a few, they all have this weird pattern all over now, which seems to be some kind of stitching feeling when you rub your hand over it. I don’t know if it’s glue perhaps from drying or what, but they are no longer as soft on the fuzzier side as a result. It’s either a defect, or my dryer was too hot. Either way, not recommended for bed use as a result as I need my bedlinens to endure a nicely heated dryer to ensure cleanliness. I have pets. But these are great for the sofas to cuddle up and watch a movie, or to use on a covered patio on a chilly morning. Just not the best for daily use and weekly washing. For the price, I expect more durability. These aren’t real fur… and that is precisely the point of UN fur, isn’t it? The durability…
