We have a large dog so the size of this is better fitting for him than the regular ones. This seems to have a better functioning system as in the vibrating and beeping sounds for him. Very good quality and seems to be durable and very simple to use. We can leave him outside more now than before and he loves playing in the water so it must be pretty good waterproofing on it. ... show more

    • Great product with poor factory assembly
The collar works great. The problem is the first thing you have to do is insert the 9 V transistor battery and the collar arrived with the screws. All four screws torqued in so tight that it was almost impossible to break them free to remove the backing to insert the battery. After approximately a half hour of trying with three different Phillips, head screwdriver’s I was able to get three of the four screws removed. The fourth screw I was able to Jim the bladed edge of a small Masonary drill bit in and using a three-quarter horse electric drill on reverse get enough of a bite into it to get it backed out. I ordered the spare parts package for 699 which has four of the replacement screws and so one of the screws been replaced. ... show more
