This product came well packaged and was very easy to set up and appears to be very well made. One thing to keep in mind with all under cabinet lights is where you place those lights. Passing by the cabinet may turn on the lights when you don't necessarily want them on.

This product was easy to install and made a big difference - did exactly what we needed it to do! In the bathroom we use it as a nightlight. The kitchen it provides safe movement without turning on big overhead lights.

    • Only lights when i hit it
One of the lights only works when I tap on it. The other works most of the time. I occasionally have to tap that one also.

    • Opted for on/off switch instead of motion
This works great for my NYC apartment’s under kitchen cabinet to add a light option to my sink and countertop. The motion detection is very sensitive and would turn on every time I would pass, which did not work for my needs. I knew this may be a problem, so the on/off switch was necessary. The switch consists of on/off/motion, so you leave it on ‘motion’ for that option. Works very well, except the magnet install option was definitely not going to work for my needs, since switching on and off requires more of a semi-permanent installation solution, which is the reason for my 4-star rating, as well as the small size of the switch, which can be a little cumbersome when I’m in kitchen preparation mode and need to turn on for more light. Two 1” x 4” hook and loop (Velcro) strips stuck on the back did the trick, and holds the lights extremely well for handling the on/off function, if that’s your preference for use. The little charging cables are extremely short, and work fine for charging, but I happen to have a 60” USB-A to USB-C cable, so when I need to charge, I can simply plug in one at a time instead of removing the lights from my hook and loop installation. The three light temperature options are great! I use the warmest light option, and is easily switched using the push button to change the light temperature to your liking. For my use, what would have been ideal is the type of led light strip that uses a hand swipe at the light itself to turn it on and off, which works similarly to the faucets you see primarily in public restrooms. I installed this type of lighting in my parents sound system cabinet, and it works like a charm, but that one requires an electrical connection. Overall, very happy with this purchase! ... show more

These lights are just right for lighting up the kitchen counter when you don't want to turn on the big overhead light. Nice that there is the auto function that turns them off quite quickly so they stay charged longer. They work great. When it’s time to recharge the light, it’s very easy to remove from the magnets that hold the light under the cabinets.
