I used this metal hose to connect to the "JOH 50FT Lightweight Garden Hose – Kink-Resistant, Flexible, High-Pressure Hose for Outdoor". This hose was from faucet to main hose throgh the hole in the Suncast plastic hose pot from L0WES. This fit the bill. I am using this hose for a 100% plastic free maple syrup farm. It holds liquid (sap in this case) very well and it is airtight (I use it to siphon from drums). No issues with kinks, damage, leaking, etc. I am very impressed with the quality for the price.

This hose is wrapped in stainless steel, which makes it very durable and kink-free, but also makes it a bit heavy and subject to getting very hot if left in the summer sun. There is, at least to me, an issue with the design of the ends: there is a screw-down metal strain relief sleeve at each end of the hose; it is metal, but screws in place in the same direction as the threads of the nozzle when you screw it onto a faucet or to a sprayer, for example. This makes unscrewing it difficult, especially if the connections are tight, since turning the hose end will also turn and thus loosen the sleeve. I had to get a wrench to hold this part while unscrewing the nozzle to get it off; annoying at best and very annoying and knuckle scraping at worst. One star off for this poorly thought out component. The rest of the hose is very solid, and according the the accompanying card in the package, has a lifetime no questions warranty. ... show more
