  • Great quality retractable fishing net!
Great quality retractable fishing net. It is lightweight, sturdy, and functions well. Great size and very nice rubber netting. It attaches to my backpack perfectly. So much easier to carry. Great product!

  • Big net for landing big fish.
This is a nice big net for landing some nice big fish. The stated max weight rating is 25lbs, so that covers some pretty nice catches... The build quality seems pretty solid, so I expect it to hold up to fish of that size. The net itself has a good size and depth to it. The telescoping arm gives you a pretty good reach for fishing from a boat/etc.. The telescoping arm flips down over the net making it reasonably compact for storage as well! Overall seems to be a good value for the money. Bottom line: a good value net that can land some big fish! ... show more

  • You can land a small shark with this
The net is huge but most landing nets are rather big. The net itself is almost 2 feet deep and about 20" wide so you could land a small shark with this beast! It has the fish safe rubber netting rather than that string fabric type of material. The rubber isn't as stressful on fish if you are a catch and release fisherman like I am. With the handle fully extended, I can reach almost seven feet out, which is great when trying to bring a big one in over a boat or in from a current in the river. Everything feels solid on handle except the plastic collar locking mechanism. I never liked these types of locks because the plastic always is the weakest point on these nets. Other than the plastic collar, the net and handle are nice, and will work great for when I'm wading out in the river or boat fishing. It folds up to just about the size of the ring that holds the net and is easy to disassemble for storage or ease of carrying. Wish it had a hole drilled in the handle to attach a lanyard or drawstring but I have a drill and can easily take care of that issue. Good deal at this pricepoint! ... show more

  • This is the one I keep in the car
So I have both the 10” and 21” mesh versions and hey are both, hands down my favorite portable landing nets that I’ve owned so far. It’s a really straight forward design, You push a button to slide the handle out and a little twist to extend. At full length, The net still feels strong, Which was the only thing I was worried about. The handle breaks down to be the same size as the net, So it really doesn't take up a lot of space in the car OR, the way I carry it sometimes, Against my back, With my fishing backpack on top. I’m so happy I found this company because I’ve tried a few other portable landing nets and the experience hasn’t been the greatest. If you need something sturdy, Portable but still long enough to reach the fish, This is the one you need. ... show more

  • Good quality, strong.
This is a great net. very strong and well made. Its a little stiff to deploy at first but loosens up over time. The mesh is the type that does not hook easy so that's a great feature. I really like that its telescoping making it easy to store away.

  • Easy to store, soft netting, strong handle.
The handle feels very strong. Also, the rubber netting should be gentle for the fish. I also really like how the handle folds down very small for easy storage.

  • Extended Reach
This net was bigger than expected. Perfect for bank fishing or where you need a longer reach. The mesh is silicone coated, which helps protect the fish and seems to tangle less with the hooks compared to the rope type. The handle didn't fold up like I expected, but instead flips and stores for space saving. Not sure if this is better or not, but it feels more secure than a hinge. Overall, decent net with long reach. ... show more

  • Solid net, I plan to keep it on my kayak - extremely light weight
Pretty decent net for the price. It's very lightweight aluminum, which is nice for handling. The actual net is made of a rubber material (latex?) and is really deep. You could fit a pretty large fish into this. It folds up really nicely into basically the size of the actual net without the handle and it has a telescoping pole. All around a really solid net. My only concern is the plastic tightening nut on the handle telescope. It seems like the cheapest part of the whole thing, unsure about the durability of that piece specifically ... show more
