The "fish" trap is more of a bait trap but is made very cheap, small fish put a hole in it on the first use. The cast net got a hole in it on the second throw in a clean manmade pond and does not throw well.

This netting kit is very nice. The weighted casting net is large and it takes a bit to throw it but works perfectly. The crab/minnow trap is awesome springs out and ready to catch.     • Overall, it's ok
I noticed the latch on my fishing landing net is difficult to open and close. Although the overall construction is simple, it has a short margin of sliding parts, which prevents the net from being released properly. I believe this is a design flaw. However, the telescoping part works fine. In contrast, the crab net is easy to open and close. It has a spring wire mechanism that pops the net out once you release the latches. I haven't had the chance to try the cast net yet, so I'll provide an update later. Overall, the quality of the nets is good, and I can't see any damage or loose sections. ... show more
