It's a good little beginner net. Having never thrown a cast net and after watching some videos, I was getting a good spread after only a few throws. Unfortunately the box the little 3ft one comes with sucks. It's extremely difficult to open, you will want to get a little tackle box to put it in. A simple single tray Plano box should be sufficient. I also recommend dessecant in the box packets to help dry it out. ... show more

This was the second one I had bought within a 2 week period ( different brands). And out of the 2 this one was a way better build quality. I used it was more than the other one. Sadly it met it's match getting snagged on something pretty far out. That was the last day I was it. Not happy that I had to leave part of it there. I got this for my son and I was a little bit concerned if he would be able to even use it at first, although when it came in it was perfect for him. He doesn’t have experience with it and he caught on super quick and it was the perfect size. I would definitely recommend this product. I have purchased this net three times and in my opinion, it is one of the best nets if not the best net that I have used for the value. It is a very well made cast net and it is fairly durable. But this last one that I purchased appeared to be used or repaired. I didn’t realize this until I was out fishing and opened it for the first time. I needed to use it right then and there and did not have the opportunity to send it back for a replacement. I wasn’t happy at all about that. I’m pretty sure it was repaired because it did not work quite as well as the first two that I purchased. It got tangled, which never happened before. There doesn’t seem to be a way to message the seller or company about the issue. The only option that seems to be available is to send it back which I couldn’t do because I had to use it. I posted the pictures after I opened it where you can see the net is not white but it’s a brownish color. Again to me, it just looked or appeared to be used and repaired. ... show more
