Belt stretches way too much; needs to be more taught

I bought this belt in purple because my girlfriend was forever borrowing my black one. She like this style of belt for its comfort and the infinitely possible placement of the prong (the poking part of the buckle) into the belt. By that, I mean that there are no holes. you just buckle it anywhere and at any length. That, along with the belt being elastic means that your pants stay up BUT you don't get "cut in half " as you do with a traditional leather belt.. The only shortcoming of this belt is that they only last for about a year of daily use before the elastic is worn out and you will need a new one. Luckily they are not expensive! I've gone through a few... and I'll buy more.

I have a sensitive lower back from surgery, so belts are irritating. This stretchy belt looks good and does the trick. It is more elastic than the typical leather braided belt, yet has enough strength to hold up my pants. Seems like a uni-sex design.
