If you are looking for a decent tablet for multimedia consumption, then Umidigi A15 fits the bill perfectly. It has a perfect form factor to watch movies on, and doubles as an efficient ebook reader. Out of the box, it comes with a flip case and a screen protector already installed. Wall charger, stylus and sim card removal pin is included in the box. Setup was easy as it has stock Android 13. No custom home screen like Fire tablets, or unwanted apps. Google play store is already included, so once the account is set up, you can download or sync all your applications from an existing android device. Screen is bright, sharp and colors pop out. Rotation is fast and scrolling is smooth. 8 Core processor and 8 GB RAM is a blessing. Android 13 has an option to extend additional 8GB ram for resource intensive applications. Split screen is very easy to use. Just open 2 apps that you would like to use simultaneously. Then swipe up and select Split Screen option. You can also adjust the width of the split. There are 4 speakers and sound quality is awesome. Battery life is also good. I got about 6 hours of mixed reading, games and watching videos. This tablet also has 2 SIM card slots along with GPS. You can attach a USB C hub and connect keyboard and mouse to this tablet. This makes it a complete multimedia work station. I strongly recommend buying this tablet as it is feature rich and priced right.

What can you expect for a tablet at a price of $200? Well, apparently a lot! The UMIDIG A15 Tab is a pretty decent 11-inch tablet, with a surprisingly nice resolution. The T616 processor, together with the 8GB of RAM, deliver a good performance and can handle multitasking with ease. This is not marketed as a gaming tablet, because it is not, and yet it performs remarkably well with medium-to-high demand games. The tablet is well built and is capable of handling almost any task you throw at it. It is sturdy, it feels right in your hands, and does not give the impression that they improvised neither with the design, nor with the functionalities. The internal memory is more than enough to store whatever your needs require, and it can be expanded if you are a digital hoarder (like me). The dual SIM feature is a big plus, and the cameras are decent for the average user. Battery life? Pretty good overall, with very low consumption when not in use, and normal battery life when in full use. The tablet comes with Android 13, which is expected. I trust that UMIDIGI will ensure that the tablet gets all the updates as they become available. I have one small criticism… the Hall sensor… For the life of me that I cannot understand why they would design a tablet where the end side of the cover cannot be extended, otherwise the tablet will lock. I’ve gotten used to it, but I can see how some people would not be as understanding as I am. Overall, a pretty decent tablet for a very decent price.

First off, this tablet feels like it costs the same as any Samsung tablet with similar specs. Second, it works incredibly smooth relating to office and business apps which was my main reason for buying it. The screen is really good, great definition and brightness. It doesn't slow down with my most used apps and runs any entertainment app like Youtube or Netflix without issues. The battery lasts a long, long time. I've only charged it like 3 times since I got it. The fact that you can insert a SIM card and use it as a phone or with a mobile internet connection is the biggest plus this tablet has. All connectivity options are available, GPS, Bluetooth, etc. Great speakers too and there's 4 of them. Comes with an included 20w fast charger and does charge quickly. My only gripe is the included screen protector. It holds fingerprints, it also like "sticks" to your fingers and hinders swiping movements. I removed it and it feels much better, although I will be buying another one made of glass.

The configuration is very deceiving. There is no dual camera (#2 is there just for show). Also, the CPU governor never enables both cores of the SOC, meaning that this is effectively a single-core device despite having a dual-core SOC (see screenshots). I assume they disable it to improve battery life, sacrificing performance. Basically, if you're looking for a high-performance device, this isn't the one.

The media could not be loaded. I had wrote a long in-depth review just for it to disappear when loading the pics and video. So here is a shorter one. Against my iPhone 14 Pro Max which may not be fair considering cost difference- it had more pixilation and lagging but color was otherwise nice. My daughter tried drawing on it but didn’t enjoy it as much as her iPad Pro which broke and I was hoping to replace with something more affordable ie this device The pressure and all that wasn’t on point for drawing. The ram is misleading and that’s where I get annoyed cause I wanted it for the 16Gb sadly it is only 8GB and then I believe virtual however when I pulled the specs up it doesn’t even show the extra 8GB I believe it was only 6GB which makes sense why I kept getting kicked off server in Genshin impact. It still looked nice and it wasn’t too shabby but for the price I don’t feel like I got what was promise or expected.

The design is beautiful and sturdy. Picture quality and display is great. Then the sound quality is great too. Don't throw money away trying to get apple, samsung and all those expensive tablets. Just too good for the price. Very good product.

We use this at work, and it seems to be responsive and works for everything we have asked of it. We purchased a Tello monthly subscription so it can also be used as a backup phone. Works great for that too. This tablet only takes ATT T-mobile type sim cards (GSM). I think it is a great value. The case is what causes the tablet to turn off. We just clip the little flap back on the tablet cover with a large paper clip until we want to close the case. You could take the cover off completely too.
