Prior to using this product, I was starting to think my hair texture was changing and my waves were flattening out. Turns out I was just using the wrong gel. This stuff is great! It has a loose, gelly texture and spreads well in wet hair. When I diffused, it gave me a soft cast (as seen in my first two pictures). After lightly fluffing my roots and scrunching all over, it gave me soft bouncy waves. The fragrance is pleasant but a little strong. It's more the sort of smell I would expect in deodorant. I'm sensitive to strong perfumes, but this one doesn't seem to cause me issues. I'm looking forward to seeing how it wears on day two and beyond.

I have a mix of 2C/3A curls. Really like this gel if I’m not going to be outside; I live in a high humidity area and noticed that the top of my head gets frizzy if it’s overcast or hot outside. Has a really great hold and because the gel isn’t too thick, you don’t have to use much to get it through your hair!

I have 2b/2c long wavy hair, and I always use a gel and mousse combo to style my hair. I paired this gel with tresseme curls mousse. I like the texture of the gel- not too thick and easy to distribute in my hair. The scent is strong at first but fades, smells similar to baby powder. I scrunched the gel into my hair and then diffused as normal. It gave me a nice cast that was easy to scrunch out after my hair dried, and I really liked the results. I also used the gel to refresh my wet hair the next day, worked very well.

Worked to define my curls, definition lasted and curl shape didn't fall out during the day. The cast is very light, frizz was still kind of there but my hair is just a bit frizzy even with strong hold products. The only thing I really dislike about this product is the scent. It smells like a very musky perfume, I don't use a lot but the scent is still very strong. Overall it's good, but I wouldn't use it because of the scent.

I love the smell. I have fine to medium hair and this wasn't too thick and it doesn't stay crunchy. I wouldn't say that it is very crunchy either once it sets my curls/waves initially. Decreased my frizz. My hair is still very touchable when using a proper amount.

I adore the scent! It is a matter of preference but most all the floral, clean and candy scents are really gross and people that complain about scents like this ruin it for the people like us that do. The product is a medium hpld depending on how much you use but it seems to only last one day, I would prefer a slight bit more hold. I just can't get past the price. If they put 8-10 oz for this same price point, complete 5 stars but I had to dock it 1 star for the number of ounces for the price. We budgeteers are hurting out here in this inflated economy and we need all the help we can get. I just started my wavy/curly journey and I will be buying in the future if they don't start discontinuing more products from this line, the curl cream is gone from their website and I emailed them about it and waiting to hear back. Hopefully they will reintroduce it without the petrolatum. (saw that mentioned in a youtube video review) petrolatum is for skin not hair.
