These things dig right down into the sand and stay put! Working great. The openings are small so I don't think you can get one of those big umbrella posts in them but for thinner poles on our beach shade tent they are perfect.

    • A must have for beach tent poles

I saw some reviews saying these don’t fit the Umardo tent. They in fact do. You have to push the poles into the auger a little forcefully then you’re all set. Also if you have a smaller beach tent that has the rubber bottoms, remove the rubber foot and these augers also fit those poles as well. This is a MUST have especially on windy beach days. My boyfriend and I were safely anchored down with no issues on a beach day where umbrellas where folding and rolling away. ... show more

I purchased these to go with the Umardoo beach canopy. I am extremely disappointed in these products. The sand anchors are stuck on the ends of the poles. As soon as a grain of sand comes into contact with the pole as you assemble, you are done. The pole and these sand drills will seize together making it impossible to take apart.
