This might be one of those times when you think to yourself: no way I don't need to call an exterminator. But I promise you by the time you are done messing around with this garbage you'll wish you had done just that. On paper the idea that these little boxes that emit sound would have some kind of effect. Animals and bugs don't like certain sounds, we know certain sounds can have adverse effects on them, so logically this should work right? A lot of things make sense on paper, but in practice its totally different. This product claims to be totally silent to human ears, I got some bad news: that ain't true at all. These seeming have 3 modes: on, muted, and LOUD. They do absolutely nothing to ward off unwanted guests. On day 2 of trying to use these things I not only saw a mouse for the first time but I saw it sitting directly under the unit while it whined away with its high pitch tone. So on top of being entirely ineffective they're also annoying to live with. Exterminator, laying traps, some strategically placed poison. You may not want to deal with the aftermath of any of those solutions but hey: at least they work. This is a waste of your time, your money, try literally anything else.

Quite happy with these magical mysteries. I live close to a few restaurants and after about 9 months living in my new home I noticed mice manifesting quickly inside, likely to keep warm. They were fighting to stay in, poor guys. I initially bought some traps and although the traps caught many initially, these mice got smart not to touch the place, just grabbed the food and took off. the trap. I literally put sticky foods So i then put sticky oatmeal or similar sticky balls of food inside the traps (these are the plastic pods you open and set the food on a trap plate, once the place gets enough pressure, like a little mouse, it clacks closed and like the jaws of life, kills the poor fellow) but after a few new kills, they found ways to get the food or simply didnt mess with it, thus they stayed in the house waiting for other tactics. Ok, so i bought these Ultrasonic repellers having real doubt. When I got them I opened the box of 6 plugs, simply plugged them in and then pressed the little power button on each to power them on. I found that when you hit the power once, the repeller begins working and the light shows it has power. These worked awesome for the whole house. Its been several months and I have not seen one mouse. I only plugged 5 of the six in and only needed the first level of sound. The second level is audible by the human ear and you definitely do not want to hear it, but im guessing that would be a case where you had worse trouble and therefore could be gone during the time they were on level two to rid the mice. These are awesome i will recommend them from now on.

I have a mouse problem right now. Exterminators want too much money, so I tried these based on other reviews. I hope they work!! The plus is you just open the package and plug them in and turn them on, very easy. The not so plus is that you can hear the noise. It's not that loud, but you can hear it. If they work, it's worth hearing the noise ( it sounds like a light scrape of nails on a chalkboard). Keeping my fingers crossed. Oh, and I do like the little night light feature I gave it a three star rating because it's my first time using them, and I don't know how they work.
