I absolutely loved this for the 3 months it worked! I’ve cleaned the water sludge build up once before today. This morning upon waking it was leaking all over just about emptied but backed up in the bottom basin- I cleaned it thoroughly and now it won’t turn on! PLEASE HELP

UPDATE 12/9/2022: I just can't recommend this product anymore. The replacement humidifier has failed for the same reason as the original unit. The part responsible for refilling the base has malfunctioned and stopped working. It started making a clicking sound, then just would no longer work shortly afterwards. Since it will no longer refill the base, the unit shuts off thinking it has ran out of water. The customer service may be great, but that doesn't help if the unit will just eventually stop working within it's first year. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- It started off great, but after a month the humidity sensor came lose and rubbed on the blower fan side. This was an easy fix with electrical tape. However, it now will no longer stop thinking it ran out of water while still full. It makes a clunking noise when trying to refill, then shuts off with the red out of water icon light showing. Evidently this is cheaply made, and will not last. Not worth the cost at all. Avoid if you don't want to throw your money away. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- UPDATE 2/18/2022 JIAWANSHUN support contacted me via message on Amazon to ship a free replacement on 2/16. It arrived on 2/18 and now up and running great. That was fast and great service. 5 starts for great support. 4 stars now for the product since it was great until it stopped working. Hopefully it was just a dud, and the replacement will last a long time. I will update this review if needed.

Cheap plastic, no auto refill even though the printed manual that ships with the unit shows it included and installed. Celsius display only. Transducers seem cheap, not stainless like other units, concerned about longevity. Update: tried to automate the unit with an IR Universal Remote; but there are no state specific command codes, you can only cycle between states (on/off) or (45/50/55/60,etc) or (mist level: 1/2/3/4/5). There is no way to know if you are possibly turning it on, or setting a specific humidity level. This means if you are not there observing the unit, you cannot know what mode it’s in, or if it is on or off. Loosing a star.

I've been looking for a humidifier that can be used with the inkbird humidistat to auto humidify and area. all the smaller humidifiers either lacked the actual amount of humidity it would take or the fan was too weak to push it where it needs to go. after going back and forth on a few others i picked this one, mainly because it had all the components of a smaller unit enhanced. my only gripe on this is that i need it to turn on and start running when it get power from the inkbird. this required me to pull it apart and short the capacitive touch for the power, im comfortable with electronics so this might not be for everyone though the wiring diagrams are pretty easy to read. after these steps were complete this machine is producing some high quality mist for my project, one more step is you'll need a reverse osmosis water filter hardlined into the tank with an auto shut off. this small addition will curb the sediment buildup on the ultrasonic plates, still need to clean them periodically but this will prolong their life for sure. i hope this review helps someone decide!! good product if i need to i'd buy it again.

This item was advertised as being able to be hooked up to a water supply line so regular MANUAL refilling would not be required. The instructions while almost pointless/useless clearly show a fill float to attach a water supply line so it can be filled automatically.... no float included, no instructions on float installation, no measurements to buy your own float...nothing. The device does crank out moisture but not having the autofill really defeats the reason I bought this. The search for a legitimate autofill humidifier continues...
