Style: 24 liter (6.3 gallon), 1100 Watt Edit: naturally, soon after my review posted, the exact model I bought is no longer offered. Oh, well. Another reviewer noted that the packing was not very rugged, and my unit had an outer box whose closure seam actually came open during transport. In my case there seems to have been no damage to the inner box or to the contents. The manual says it weighs 18.2 kg (40 lbs); the wheels and handle placement make it relatively easy to pick up and move around. My unit restarts the motor when the tank pressure drops to 5.5 bar (80 psi) and fills to shutoff at 8 bar (116 psi) in 26 seconds. The compressor has a clean design and though the various noise levels specified in the Amazon listing page and the manual conflict with each other (85, 75, 66, 60 dB), it really is quiet. As another reviewer observed, the burst of air coming from the pressure switch when the target pressure is reached is much louder than the compressor noise itself. I'll be exploring possibilities for muffling that sound. The first half of the user manual is in English, followed by German. The Table of Contents indicates the English text is translated from a German original rather than the other way around, and maybe that's why it's more complete than most manuals for Chinese products. A large number of misplaced hyphens suggests a rogue word processor or translator, and some odd word choices and references to 220-volt, 50 Hertz power and to the European standards agencies VDE and DIN betray the German origin and evidently an intended British audience rather than American. The only wear part listed in the manual is the air filter, and they conveniently left off any further description. My initial impression is that this compressor really deserves its high user score and I look forward to using it for a long time to come!

A really nice air compressor. Pumps up extremely fast and is just as they advertise it. Also comes with a nice air hose. I know it will be handy as it is not too heavy to carry around and puts out plenty of air.

now is it a good compressor? of course not bad for size and in a "Sense" yes it is Quiet? but it IS STILL LOUD!! for instance? IS IT AS Quiet as a Harbor Freight Fortress? or a California Tools? No not even "CLOSE" however? its NO Where as loud as say a Pancake compressor, or others, but if using say? for a Airbrush situation? yes its fine? but you will be Highly Annoyed by sound, Great for nail guns and smaller projects etc. where that sound would be very acceptable!! again for size! and tank size! it is a good bargain! but keep in mind it is louder than most! if heard a Harbor freight "Black Widow"(claims its Similar to Iwata Power Jet Pro?) the BW is LOUD!! and much louder than the "Fortress"!! and this one is a little louder than the "Black Widow" and of the 3? this one? is the Quietest at 87db, keep in mind at 60db that is VERY QUIET!! almost like a "Fish Tank filter/water circulator"!!! you can Talk with this in "Proximity" but you will find trying to raise your voice, and for instance? if was in a same room of a TV? with "Normal" hearing levels, you would strain to Hear TV somewhat, to put in a Gauge perspective? it "IS Louder than the California Tools California Air Tools CAT-4710W which is rated at 75db and comes in at 74db!! and this compressor is MUCH louder, but! still Quieter than some, for dead Quiet! Iwata Power Jet Pro, then California Tools brands, then Fortress, from there they all seem higher than 82 to 88db.
