I'm giving 5 stars for 5 reasons. First, it has a decent sound. (Not $5000 sound but definitely $129 sound which is what we paid.) Second, it was fairly simple to setup. Not detailed instructions but if you look at the wires they tell you where they go. The bluetooth hooked up automatically so there was no problem there. Fourth, my dog ate the remote the first week we've had it and I was able to download an Ultimea app from the Googleplaystore and use the bluetooth from our phones to operate it- that was easy to set up and a good workaround. Fifth, it is well built and its a nice looking little set. It's a great value for the money and we're pretty pleased with it! ... show more

I bought this expecting mediocre audio but better than the projector speaker. But it truly amazing I would honestly be willing to pay 50-100 more for it the audio is great and even though it’s only a 4 inch sub it makes great bass so much it can shake my walls. The app is great to I use it to control the soundbar all the time it’s easier that finding the remote the set was also really easy I use this on my PlayStation all the time with a ugreen adapter and it has 0 latency. The cables span across my wall but they are simple plug and play it makes it super easy to get everything set up and hidden. This is by far my favorite audio set up I’ve had ... show more

It’s not true surround sound. Get the upgraded A60. I’m returning it and I just installed Ultima’s A60 model, the difference is night and day. Just to test it out, I put on a Disney movie and I’m hearing dialogue from speakers in the front while I’m hearing music and atmosphere from speakers in the rear. That wasn’t true with this model. This model I could hear everything coming from the rear speakers at the same time as the front speakers. The A60 is only about $70-$80 more, then you’ll get true surround sound. ... show more

Definitely your BUDGET soundbar set. Dont know why its getting all these 4 and 5 STARS, its very midgrade. I mean it does the job but its nowhere near as good as the VIZIO 5.1 soundbar for $90 more. I went from the VIZIO to this and its a definite downgrade. The base is BARELY noticeable. The "settings" on the remote dont really make to much of a difference. If you switch from "movie" to "sports" to "talk" the difference in minimal. This is a soundbar you wanna get for your kids room NOT to impress your friends with a theater experience. I mean, what do we expect for $119. Im even contemplating returning this and getting the VIZIO ... show more

To be honest, I was a little leary about this item since all the reviews were Vine purchases. Meaning all the reviews were "endorsed" by Amazon. BUT. Having read all the reviews and read the available documentation I decided to take a chance on the Ultimea surround sound bar. And I figured, heck, I could always return it if it didn't work out. Second of all, I very rarely post reviews. But due to the overwhelming number of reviews from Vine "people" I thought the product deserved a non-endorsed review. Bottom line: I am enjoying the product very much. Honestly, I don't like the whole "surround sound" thing. I get very disturbed when I hear "noises" behind my head. So I didn't connect the rear surround sound speakers. I've tested the sound bar with streaming, DVD's and Blu-Ray's. No disappointments. What I especially like is the remote (no, I never installed the app on my smart phone. why should I when I have the remote right in front of me?) It has separate buttons for "bass" "midrange" and "treble" so I can shape the sound however I like. Heaven. And the center speaker shows the result of your selection via LED's on the front of the speaker... but not for long. Maybe a minute or so and then it goes blank. Oh, I need to shout out to who(m)ever designed the packaging. Each component was wrapped in plastic/foam and THEN encased in for real foam. I defy any external force to mess with any component. If I had to ding the product at all, I'd have to take a few points away from the "manual". Luckily each component (and each cable) was well-labeled so you really don't need the manual at all. Doesn't have great bass. Surround sound not great. I can't hardly even tell there's rear speakers. Trying to adjust the sound or to increase sound to rear speakers is basically useless. And it's not my hearing. I'm an audiophile. Granted, not as keen as when I was young but according to tests, I'm still quite good. ... show more
