Features

  • 5.1.2ch Surround Sound System: Featuring dedicated upward-firing speakers, rear surround channels, and a high-performance subwoofer, this 5.1.2-channel audio system produces immersive multidimensional sound. Hear rain cascading overhead, aircraft flying above, and thunder rolling throughout the room. Dolby Atmos fills your space with lifelike audio from every angle, creating a theater-like experience beyond traditional surround sound.
  • Up-Firing Drivers with Neodymium Core: Engineered with neodymium magnetic units and enlarged 18-core voice coils, the height speakers deliver improved vertical projection and enhanced positioning accuracy. This premium acoustic structure boosts high-frequency detail and produces clearer overhead sound effects, maximizing the immersive performance of Dolby Atmos audio.
  • 360 SurroundX Audio: Equipped with dual rear surround speakers and two dedicated Atmos height channels, SurroundX technology creates a spacious 360 sound field. Advanced spatial audio algorithms accurately distribute sound around and above the listener for deeper immersion and more natural three-dimensional audio performance. Note: Not compatible with DTS.
  • Lossless Audio Transmission: HDMI eARC supports bandwidth up to 37Mbps, enabling high-quality uncompressed 5.1.2-channel Dolby Atmos transmission. Compared with conventional ARC connections, eARC preserves greater audio detail and more precise surround positioning. Built-in CEC functionality allows synchronized TV and soundbar control for volume, power, and input switching.
  • Advanced App Control: Personalize your listening with the Ultimea App. Adjust surround speaker levels across 13 steps (-6 to +6), fine-tune sound using a 10-band equalizer, and access 121 preset EQ configurations. OTA software updates continuously optimize system performance while adding new features over time.
  • Bluetooth 5.4: Powered by Bluetooth 5.4 technology, the sound bar delivers quicker pairing, stronger connection stability, and better resistance to signal interference than Bluetooth 5.3. Enjoy smooth low-latency wireless audio streaming for movies, gaming, and music playback.

  • Solid system!
Number of Audio Channels: 5.1.2
Picked up the Ultimea Skywave F40 5.1.2 today as a Dolby Atmos upgrade. Even with a nice TV that has solid built in speakers, I wanted real surround sound without spending a fortune. For the price, it’s been impressive. Sound wise, it’s a clear step up. Movies have nice Atmos height effects for better immersion, punchy tight bass, and clear dialogue. Music sounds lively with good detail. Handles volume well. Not flagship quality, but noticeably more engaging than TV speakers alone for movies and gaming. Build is lightweight as typical, and up-firing drivers work best with proper ceiling height. Connectivity has been reliable. Overall, a really strong 5.1.2 system for the money. Solid 9/10. Has the remote which is convenient, but not as convenient as the app, so I continue to use that instead ... show more

  • Product lacks tutorial instructions
Number of Audio Channels: 5.1.2
The installation manual was lacking detail. And there was not a tutorial provided to explain the remote control.

  • Beautiful sound & easy set up
Number of Audio Channels: 5.1.2
The system sounds beautiful. I got this thing set up in under 30 minutes. The subwoofer seems small but it actually packs a nice punch. I’d definitely recommend.

  • Functional, not great in my space Functional, not great in my space
I am no audiophile, but I do have a lot of experience with home theater sound and wanted to test out this low-cost Dolby Atmos option. I tested normal content, Dolby Atmos content from Apple+, and Bluetooth music from my phone. The testing space is a large living room with 12 ft ceilings. TLDR: It's an adequate soundbar and would improve almost every TV's sound, but don't expect high end sound. YMMV - sound is very personal, and spaces are very different. Ultimately I gave this to my son and he loves it in his room, and I went back to my "old" soundbar. Pros: Easy to setup. Ideally your TV will have an eARC HDMI port. (Atmos won't work with anything else) Accessory package is more than sufficient with wall mount hardware. All cables needed are supplied and even a right angle HDMI attachment if you need one. Mobile app (100% optional) - only reason to get the app that I could tell was to have full control over custom EQ settings. Unfortunately the sliders are very close together on the screen, and difficult to move with any precision if your fingers are larger than a pencil. It also gives you a backup way to control the soundbar in case you lose the remote. Sound quality and volume is adequate Multiple pre-set sound settings like Movie, sports, music, etc. Low profile and nice looking with the gold accents LED readout on the front is nice, and you can control the brightness setting so it's not distracting. Music - sound reproduction was OK for background quality. Again, keep expectations reasonable. Cons: Voices sound hollow and tinny. This was my biggest issue with the set. My old Vizio soundbar sounds more natural. I used the app to fiddle with the EQ and could never find a good spot that sounded right to my ear. Passive sub. Bass is present but you're not rattling any windows here. Remote - I'll get really picky here and say that the remote isn't weighted very well. It is not backlit. It is responsive and labeled well. AAA batteries x2 are not included. Some remotes are designed for real world use with a real human hand, but this one seems designed for as many buttons as possible in a long, narrow controller. Not terrible, but also not great. One other note for any potential buyer - be sure you even have Dolby Atmos source content to use. For streaming services, this is only at the PREMIUM subscription level. The soundbar works fine without Atmos content, of course. Get this if you want to improve your TV sound on a budget. Don't get this if you want high quality home theater sound. ... show more

  • ULTIMEA 3.1.2ch Sound Bar with Dolby Atmos, Surround Sound System
I recently upgraded our home entertainment system with this 3.1.2-channel surround sound setup, and it has truly transformed our TV viewing experience. From the moment we turned it on, I was amazed at how immersive the sound feels — it’s like the sky comes alive right in our living room. The front-firing drivers and up-firing speakers, combined with the powerful 6.5" subwoofer, create multidimensional sound that surrounds you without needing any rear speakers. What really impresses me is how realistic the height effects are. Whether it’s helicopters passing overhead or thunder rumbling in the distance, the precision-tuned up-firing speakers make everything feel so real that I find myself looking up at the ceiling instinctively. It’s a whole new level of cinematic experience, perfect for movie nights or even just relaxing with music. The system’s VoiceMX technology and DSP processing make dialogue crystal clear, so I never miss a word — even during loud action scenes. I also appreciate the lossless audio via HDMI eARC, which delivers richer, more detailed sound without compression, and the CEC feature makes controlling everything effortless with just one remote. Using the Ultimea app, I can customize the sound with a 10-band EQ and preset settings, and the OTA updates keep the system performing at its best. It’s sleek, easy to set up, and makes our TV watching so much more enjoyable. I highly recommend it for anyone wanting to bring theater-quality sound into their home. ... show more

  • Excellent quality in a small package Excellent quality in a small package
I've gotten a few of these on here and so far they have all been consistently excellent. If you check out the rating for their app on the Play or App Store You'll see that even behind the scenes with the stuff that normally gets afterthought at best, these guys are knocking it out of the park in terms of customer satisfaction, simplicity, and reliability. I have some other 50 series, 40s and the 30s like this for the sound bars. I would maybe recommend the 40 series which is only a few bucks more to get the satellite speakers but anyway you cut it this is a rock solid setup with deep bass, clear mid tones and crisp trouble. Easily holds its own against anything like Samsung and if you were blind testing this against Sonos, not listening to your favorite song, not knowing what you're looking for, unless you turned the base up an insane amount on both, I don't think you'd be able to tell the difference. ... show more

  • Excellent choice with small to no compromise
👍 The Good Immersive Atmos Experience Thanks to the 2 up‑firing drivers plus the 3.1.2 channel setup, there is a noticeable height effect raindrops, helicopters, overhead ambience sound more “above you” rather than just around. It adds a layer of immersion especially during movies. Good Power and Bass for the Price With 390W peak power, a wired subwoofer, and Ultimea’s BassMax tech, it pushes a decent bass. Explosions in action scenes hit with weight, and music gets a decent low‑end foundation. Compact, Clean Design & Connectivity The bar is slim (around 1.5‑in height) so it tucks nicely under the TV, avoiding clutter. Multiple input options including HDMI IN/eARC, Bluetooth, optical etc., are appreciated flexibility for different devices. Value / Features for Price Point Features such as full Dolby Atmos decoding, 4K/HDR pass‑through, and EQ/preset sound modes offer a lot of bang for what you pay. If you are upgrading from TV speakers (or a basic soundbar), you’ll feel the difference. 👎 What needs to be improved Atmos Effects Can Be Subtle While you do get height effects, they aren’t always pronounced. Depending on room shape, ceiling height, content mixing, or placement, the “above‑you” sound can feel less defined than in higher‑end Atmos systems. it’s more “pleasant surround” than a fully convincing 3D bubble. Subwoofer & Low Bass Limitations The subwoofer adds a lot of needed bass, but it’s not earth‑shaking. Deep sub‑bass (say under ~40‑45Hz) is less present. Also, sometimes the bass is strong but not as tight or refined as in pricier units. If you’re a bass purist, this likely won’t fully satisfy. But consider the price, this is really unbeatable at this price point. True vs Virtual vs Mixed Performance Across Content The soundbar behaves best with content that has proper Atmos tracks and when using HDMI eARC etc. For non‑Atmos or lower fidelity content, the system works great, but doesn’t always give you that “wow.” Also, depending on TV’s audio and room acoustics, some of the spatial effects lose clarity. Which is expected on lower quality streams or OTA sound effects. For someone who wants a big step up from built‑in TV speakers, wants Atmos features, and doesn’t want to spend major money, this is a strong contender. It balances performance, features, and price nicely. Just temper expectations: it's not going to match a high‑end Atmos setup, especially in terms of bass depth, finesse, or long‑term perfect reliability but it does many things well, and for most users it likely hits the sweet spot. Again, for this price, ease of setup, compact ergonomic design and overall sound quality is beyond expectations, worth every penny! ... show more
