Purchased as a crash pad for my children. my children are in love with this chair. We bought the 6000. Comfortable seats two children. They love to lounge while watching tv, play on their IPad. My daughter took a nap on the floor cushion last week. She just passed out as it was so comfortable. This is the best purchase we have made for our family room for the kids. It is comfortable. There was no weird smell. The cover can be taken off and washed, which with children is a huge plus. It allows for additional seating for the kids. They can wallow, eat, relax… All without tearing up the sofa or nice chairs. I debated about buying this, only to wish I would have done it much sooner. Easy to assemble. I prefer the foam over the traditional beanbags, much more comfortable. The blue color looks great with our furniture, so it is not an eye sore. Great quality. Used daily. My kids love it and enjoy having it. Five stars. After looking at comparable items, I am so glad I purchased this one. The grand has a great reputation, great quality, shipping was fast and I had it put together in less than 10 minutes. Would definitely buy again. The size is perfect for two kids to sit comfortably. Most of the negative reviews regarding the foam and the smell didn't read the pamphlet that comes with the bean bag. breaking up the foam isn't hard, I just tossed and punched the bag a bit and after maybe 15 minutes of that it was fine. The smell is VERY BAD when it first comes out of the bag but just like it says in the instructions, if you let it air out for a day or so, that goes away completely. Super comfortable, I've napped on it plenty of times and my dog sleeps on it literally every day. He has two beds of his own btw. It's held up really well these past three months but I'm about to move to a new place with it so I will update on how that goes. ... show more

The whole family loves this bean bag! It’s soft and extremely comfortable. My kids also play rough with it and it is extremely durable. I love that I can remove the cover and was it when needed. The navy blue is a pretty color.

I loved the idea of a floor pillow. At first it was very firm and not what I wanted. I decided on a whim that it must have too much fluff in it, and opened it up and took some out. Much more comfortable and more pliable to body shape.

Ordered the 3000, purple, as a gift for a young lady at a children’s home. She was thrilled ! The purple color is a bright purple ( crayon purple ). And the size was even larger than expected. She is 9 and we probably could have gone with the child size. But this way it will last longer. Plenty of filling, very full. The cover was very soft. Also loved the way the cover was separate from the bag of filling. Can wash or replace very easily. I thought I had an issue with the transaction ( turns out I didn’t ), but the seller responded quickly and much to my satisfaction. I have purchased several bean bags through the years, and this seems to be one of the best. Now, time will tell. Kids can tear up concrete blocks. ;-). The price is a little high. It’s a bean bag. But the next request from a kid for a bean bag chair for their room ( and I can catch a sale ) , I will be buying from this seller. ... show more

    • Memory foam bag superior to bean bags of my youth

Purchased two - one for each child. Be sure to follow the directions for assembly. The only difficulties had with assembly related to the weight of the product. I am a small person and was still able to get the 4ft sized bags assembled with some effort. The memory foam bits come compressed. You need to let them open up for a day. The filling of one bag was very compressed and it all came loose over time. Don’t open the inner bag. There is still some foam tiny bits that go all over the place when you are putting it together. Wear clothes you don’t mind getting a little dirty but easy to clean. The exterior cover was smooth suede. The kids love them and have been jumping and flipping into them with no wear and tear issues. They are very comfortable to lie down on. I am not a fan of using them for chairs personally because I like more support. They are heavy to move around. ... show more

I don’t like that the foam chunks inside the insert smell really bad. It needs to be aired out & hopefully smell go away. The chunks are all in a hard clump & have to be manually manipulated to loosen up. It will take some time to soften it up and make it into the correct shape.
