we have had this for 3 years got it for grand daughter when she stays for the weekend great quality, comfy will sink far if over 180lbs. warning: it will sweat so make sure you have some kind of breathable pad beneath it9we took a wooden palate covered it with felt on the solid lines and left open some holes and made a raised platform for it and when she isnt using it we stand it up to breath. It needs a inner liner to hold all the foam squares so they can be removed so you can wash the out side cover! if it gets wet it will take forever to dry even with a high powered fan on it. so be very careful. We ended up taking out alllll the foam blocks to dry them so no mold could grow. ... show more

Overall, this Amazon Basics Large Bean Bag Chair delivers incredible comfort and size. It lives up to its "large" name—it's big, heavy, and incredibly comfortable to sink into for reading or watching a movie. The memory foam filling offers great support, making it far superior to traditional bead-filled bags. However, after a few months of use, I have two significant issues that keep this from being a 5-star product. First, the filling quickly settles, meaning constant fluffing and reshaping is required to keep it full and plush. This is a bit of a workout! Second, the design makes cleaning the cover a major hassle. While the outer shell zips off, you cannot simply unzip it for washing without exposing the internal memory foam chunks. If you attempt to wash the cover, you risk having the internal bits spill out and make a huge, overwhelming mess. This lack of an easy, mess-free liner makes long-term maintenance frustrating. It's a fantastic, cozy seating option, but potential buyers should be aware of the maintenance and cleaning challenges before purchasing. ... show more

Very comfortable! Big enough my husband and I can lay on it together. It gets a little flat after we lay on it, but we just fold it over to fluff it up and then it is like new! A little difficult to unpack; gets a workout in breaking up the foam!

Edit: Horrible, needs inner lining for their dumb glitterbomb foam, this thing stretches as the seconds go by, gets flat in 4minutes and is horrible to get up from. Headache needs to have LINER included! Mess mess mess! Needs real foam not lightest fake cushions Update: Since i visted a friends that owned a beanbag in the first placed, was in shame to remember how theirs has that sponge you want versus this immediately sinks ya and holds the shape. Didnt want “beans” so they must of shredded foam mattress which hurts since its also not styrofoam, good, but foam not enough nor chunky enough ti fill gaps. WOULD BEEN EXCELENNT IF YOU COULD FIND A INNER LINER IF NOT PREPARE FOR MESS WHEN OPENING Dont open the zipper horrible mess of foam flows out total tornado mess, cat hazards they wanted to play with the bits of confetti foam that would fly out. This thing is AMAZING!! But it is very big, heavy and not easy to move. It has chopped/shredded pieces of memory foam inside, some seem to be coated in plastic. It was actually too stuffed for my liking so I unzipped it and got rid of 4 trash bags of the filling. It needs to be flipped and fluffed a few times a week as the more it’s used the flatter it gets in certain spots. My kid loves it and I love it. Great price for what you get. ... show more

My chair arrived 5 days early to start! Always a plus. I didn’t realize, until I picked up the box, that the 6’ chair weighs 64 pounds! So be careful (but that to me showed it’s quality). When I pulled it out of the box, the entire thing was a solid memory foam brick. The instructions said it could take up to five days to fully expand which disappointed me at first. But, if you roll the foam pieces around inside and pull them apart, it’s ready to go in 20 minutes. Definitely one of the most comfortable things I have ever laid on! It’s like a cloud. It forms around you like a cloud but not to the point where you can’t get out. I’m 5’9” and the 6’ is actually the perfect size for me. Not too big but just enough extra. I have a pretty terrible sleep disorder, it’s incredibly difficult for me to rest. When I laid down in the chair, I was actually able to fall asleep without even taking my meds. And to the point where I even dreamed. Believe me when I tell you, that’s saying a lot. I couldn’t be happier with it. Absolutely recommend to anyone who just wants to be comfy. Especially if you’re a 90’s kid like me! Definitely brings back memories :) ... show more

.. so it's very comfortable. It's very heavy. There's no way to wash it because there is no inner lining to remove the memory foam just an outer microfiber fabric with a zipper if you open it your life will be hell. The memory foam is very fragmented. Just having the kids sleep on it for one night the fragrance of the kids is stuck on there and there's no way to really wash it off. I just Febreze the hell out of it. I don't know I guess I'll have to figure out a way of getting a new cover without letting the inner stuff Escape. If it was just shredded and and not micro particles inside it wouldn't be so bad but I am a little hesitant and don't think I would ever buy this particular brand again. I just don't understand why there's no inner lining the encapsulate the shredded material. It stinks like hell just after the dog sits on it or anything it just reverberates any odors. ... show more
