These pillow covers are beautiful. The colors are vibrant. The material is some sort of burlap/canvas, so they are not soft. To ensure durability, water resistance, and UV protection I sprayed them with Star Brite waterproofing (then let dry for several days) and used water resistant pillow inserts. I would have been willing to pay more for waterproof covers but could not find any like these. ... show more

The colors on these pillow covers are vibrant and beautiful. The fabric is definitely not soft, but I wouldn't say it's rough as some reviewers have said. As you can see in my pictures, we use these inside and have found them to be comfortable against our skin - not abrasive at all. I went back and forth on what size pillow inserts to buy to use with these covers - the reviews were probably 50/50 on using 18" pillows or 20" pillows. I ended up buying the "Acanva Decorative Throw Pillow Insert, Soft Hypoallergenic Cushion Form Euro Sham, 18"-4P, White" pillow inserts that are sold here on Amazon. Even the description on the pillow inserts says they're recommended for 16x16 inch pillows. But for me - the 18" pillows were perfect for these 18" covers. They're plump enough that they hold a nice shape, but not SO plump that they're hard and uncomfortable. If you're looking for covers with a bright pop of turquoise/teal and a beach theme - don't hesitate to purchase these. We LOVE them! ... show more

For the price, I did not expect these to look as nice as they do! They are so classy and go with my teal ocean theme deck set. I bought (on Amazon) 8x8 pillows and they fit perfectly. These are decorative so don't expect them to be super soft. The colors are just as vibrant in person as they are on the website. They look identical. These pillow covers are amazing. The quality and texture are beautiful and look much more expensive than they are. I put them in my living room in my summer house. Everyone comments on them. I also used them to cover my dining room chairs and everyone loves them.

I ordered these covers for our backyard patio furniture. There is definitely quality in their workmanship. I ordered 20 inch pillow inserts so they would fill the cases well - nice and easy to get them into the cases and the zipper is also good quality. My girlfriend ordered them after seeing mine.

I bought these pillow covers for a beach front condo and they are beautiful! I placed them around the hot tub and they really add a pop of fun whimsical flair. These pillow coverings look to be very nicely made. Strong material. I am a bit disappointed that there aren't any really contrasting, bright colors. There are some...but they aren't as colorful as depicted...either that or I ordered the wrong ones. Otherwise they look like they'll hold up really well and they do look really nice...and fun...very nautical. One other thing, for some reason I didn't know I had to order the pillow stuffing separately. The stuffing costs more than the pillows which seems rather odd considering the labor in sewing the pillows and putting in zippers. ... show more
