It is really too soon for me to write a review. I've had mine for about 3 weeks but I use my gear professionally more than most people and I'm just afraid I'll forget to leave a review later. So, after 3 weeks of almost daily use, I have to say that so far, this stand is everything I wanted. I wanted something like this that was light weight, but also opened WIDE so that it had a more stable base. My shoots are in public places with very little prep due to the nature of my profession. My lights get bumped either by me, the talent or the public. The wide base gives me a little more piece of mind while maintaining portability. So far these have held up spectacularly. I also love how tall they are. I have the 8' version. I hang an Amaran 60x S from the top of mine with a v-mount battery and I am happy with the stability. Yes, it can still get knocked over, but the ability to extend the base wide gives me a bit more piece of mind. I intend to give it 2 more weeks and if I'm still happy I'll order another.

Compact and easy to setup. Only 2ft collapsed and more than eight feet of height is useful for more than just lights. The extendable feet sections can be used to offset a front heavy light so less worry of tipping over. Felt sturdy with quality workmanship. Fair price for a highly functional stand.

Great compact + versatile light stand! I bought 3 of these for when I am doing travel set-ups and am not using heavyweight equipment. I really like that you can get the stands to go low to the ground, and also the center column hook for a weight (which you should use for added stability and safety). Great product!
