These lights are just over a foot long and about a half inch wide. The are really bright and can be seen a long way off. Perfect for me river skiff. They don’t say if they are coast guard approved but they are at least 10 times brighter than me old pedestal light poles that are supposed to be cg approved. These are very bright and easy to install. The adhesive seems to be very strong. Recommend proper surface prep for long lasting adhesion. My boat is aluminum, so I cleaned the area with acetone and a green 3M scotchbright pad.
