If this still doesn't work, it might be due to the wrong shutter type. Change the shutter type from electronic to mechanical, then adjust the flash settings and change the flash setting from OFF to M. Now focus again, and then switch the flash back to manual mode.

Faulty item - doesn’t charge
Doesn’t work after a few uses. I’ve only used it a handful of times where I only had to recharge if 2-3 times. It no longer powers on or charges. I got it 7 months ago. I’ve messaged them but still no response. On their site they state they have a 4 years warranty but it’s been crickets..

Compact hot shoe flash
Love!!! I originally bought a GODOX for my Sony ZV1 and it is quite large. This one is the perfect mini size yet packs a good punch when it comes to flash settings. Can be carried in your pocket and small purses!

Check how to correctly use it
The flash does what it says, now, it may be me using it wrong z you have to slow the shutter speed but I found the illumination way too blueish. I may have a camera setting wrong. Battery life is pretty good.

Good quality
Flash is good quality, if you are getting for a Sony zv1 just know it might stick out a tiny bit so for example if you have like a silicone case on it the case might come out a little bit but other else than that everything is good!
