The lens itself is fine. The threading could be a bit better, but can't complain too much for the price. My biggest point is that in the MAIN DESCRIPTION, it talks about 52mm filters. So... I bought 52mm filters. Well that is for the adapter ring, NOT THE LENS. Seems stupid not to mention the filter size needed FOR THE LENS, when I'm here to buy a lens, not a filter adapter ring. On second review, they DID make one mention about 58mm filters needed for the lens, but... not until the very bottom, and it's buried in the marketing pictures. ... show more

Saw the reviews about the adhesion issues, but I have a cage on my ZV-1 so the other option wasn’t gonna work for me. I will confirm that unless you keep that thing in a very isolated case, the lens will fall off and every time you put it on after that, it will stick less and less even with the extra stickers. Love the lens I hate the mounting options. ... show more

This isn’t for Sony zv1f even though it pops up for it. Not really safe for camera has adhesive tape. But it definitely works for the wide angles

I noticed a review mentioning it doesn’t come with a step out mount for the wide angle lens, and another about it not staying on. Everything you need for this camera is all together. You actually attach everything together when using the wide angle. Also, when initially mounting anything sticky, it requires time for the product to permanently bond. So I recommend sticking the adapter first without the lens so that you can let the bond adhere (think command strips) then after some time you can proceed to mount the lens which should stay on fairly well. Just make sure to attach the adapter centered. I’ve held my camera by the handle or tripod knowing the weight of the lens and it still stays on. I’m not as careful as I should be, and mine has stayed on quite well. Plus the wide angle and macro work perfectly well. If it’s still confusing, it goes camera > lens adapter > macro lens > wide angle lens > lens cover. When you want macro, just unscrew the wide angle. Hope this helps. I purchased them for a Sony RX100 VII. Macro works acceptably, but far below expectations. He easily loses focus Wide is a disaster. First of all, the quality of the image leaves much to be desired, secondly, when the maximum zoom of the device is open, a vignetting effect appears. Focus is difficult at smaller distances, for example 2-3 m. And the difference between wide and wide is insignificant, below 10% (estimated) ... show more

This is a nice and compact attachment lens for this camera, it’s makes the camera slightly more heavy but not extremely noticeable. The lens work perfectly, aside from the positives the lens requires this adhesive it comes with that makes the base of the lens stick to your camera, which can be kind of annoying because you’ll have this sticky residue left on your camera because after a while the lenses fall off and you have to add another adhesive round. The first time I stuck the lenses on it stayed for a good 4 months without falling off them recently the adhesive stop sticking as good as it did before and when I add more it never stuck like it did the first time. If the adhesive worked better I’d give it a higher rate. ... show more

I tried it on my Sony ZV E10 with the Sony 16mm f2.8 lens immediately after receiving it. I must say it's an excellent product even though the images are a bit soft in the corners, it produces little chromatic aberration and color fringing, nothing you can't fix in post. The distortion is the same as that produced by all wide-angle lenses. this lens offers a lot for 45 bucks. In my opinion it is just perfect. ... show more
