ASSEMBLY: The ring light is easy to set up. I had everything connected and ready to use in only a minute. The tall tripod was a bit of a surprise as it's literally around 6 feet tall, depending upon what angle you set the legs at the base. Of course, if I would have read the item description closely, it wouldn't have been a surprise to me. Everything screws together with ease, and it plugs in directly to a USB port, so you don't have to worry about battery life with long meetings or streaming broadcasts. PRODUCT: The light itself appears to be made mostly out of plastic components, but that's okay for what it needs to do. As long as you treat it properly, there's no reason to believe it won't last for many years. The tripod consists of metal with some plastic. While it isn't the sturdiest of tripods, it will do the trick. I wouldn't recommend using it outdoors as the base isn't very wide and a strong wind could certainly blow it over. But indoors, it works great. PERFORMANCE AND FEATURES: Let's get to the most important thing this can do for you. If you're tired of looking like a ghost on a bad day, use this light. It has five different temperature settings along with the ability to adjust brightness separately for each setting. Depending upon the time of day, I change the light temperature and it works great. I mostly use it for the multiple Zoom and Teams meetings I have throughout the day, and people have actually noticed how I seem brighter on the call. I usually tell them it's just my good looks and a good night's sleep - at first. Eventually, I come clean and tell them about my new light. The light also comes with a small remote that links via Bluetooth to your phone. So, when you eventually use it with your phone for conferencing or streaming, you can press the button on the remote to take pictures. Works quite well, although I haven't used it a bunch yet. Lastly, the remote works with both Android and iPhones. OVERALL: Honestly, for the price of this light, you can't go wrong. It works great and it's affordable. If something were to happen to it (you knock it over by accident, etc.) and you break it, it won't break your bank to purchase another one. For what it can do for you, it's worth the small price. Do yourself a favor and buy this light. It will brighten your day - literally. :) One other feature I haven't yet used is the remote that comes with it ... show more

A few months later, the light is still intact after constant use. The only drawback is that it isn't the *most* stable thing ever and will wobble a bit. Directions were not in depth, but it’s easy to figure out anything that is not fully described. The cord seems a little short, won’t work without an electrical source, in other words you can’t charge it and use wireless. Not a big deal for me, works great as described.
