This is a gorgeous, super soft wool throw, the colors are even better than the photo. I grew up with wool, work with wool as a felt artist and this is the real deal….premium wool, smelling just as wool should, not of chemicals. The generous size and warmth make me long to be snowed in! For now it looks beautiful hanging over the arm of our living room chair but I will snuggle in with coffee come morning. I just ordered 2 more as Christmas gifts for friends and family. This is a real winner!

This is a fabulous wool throw at a fantastic price. I totally disagree with the review describing it as scratchy. This is WOOL, not acrylic. It's the real thing, actually made from sheep's wool, so of course it's going to feel different. I find it very soft and comfy. I bought one as a gift and then bought two more, one to keep and another as a gift for a friend who loved mine! Plus it's made in UKRAINE, and supporting the economy there is important!

Very rough and abrasive to the skin.

The colors are the exact shade of blue with brown that I was looking for, but EXTREMELY rough to the touch and itchy. If you want to use it just for appearances, you’re golden. It did arrive the very next day as promised. I’ve just never had anything made of wool that was this abrasive. It would’ve been five stars if it was soft and ready to use.

The blanket is lovely. It is a great cause to support Ukraine. The dimensions are off. It’s advertised as 55”x78”. Mine is 52”x70”. Quite a bit smaller than I wanted, however I will keep because if I sent it back there is no guarantee that a replacement would be the advertised size.

This blanket is a human powered heat source.
So after reading too many stories of world events I decided maybe it would be a good idea to have some warm wool blankets should the power go out here for an extended period of time. Who would know better than the Ukrainians about getting warm so this is where I started and this is my last stop. This blanket is super warm and soft . I'm not kidding when I say after having this on your lap or bed it becomes a cocoon. After using, it's a bundle of warmth when you pick it up. They're amazing and you too will fall in love with them as I have. After buying one I decided to buy one for each of my daughters and granddaughters, and I just may buy some extras. You can also go to Greater good charities and buy some blankets for the Ukrainians and their pets. I hope you do and I hope this helps you shop.

Just what I needed

This is a light weight non-bulky wool throw, which provides considerable warmth. It’s very well made. I’ve read other reviews where people said it wasn’t soft enough. While it’s not as soft as cashmere or lamb’s wool, it’s also not scratchy or irritating. I’m very pleased with the product.
