excellent. does the job , honestly for this price and those performance, I'm really satisfied. It takes 2 gallons a day of water and the humidity is now at a 53% rate the air is definitively better now in the room

We had high hopes for this — described as a small, strong, quiet dehumidifier. Bought it for someone in a small basement apartment, prob less than 500 square feet (less than 1/3 of its rating), with a single, always-closed window and a tight door. We thought it would be plenty big for the space (it was not even though used as instructed, checked with a level in every direction, even 20 inches from walls and with helper fans). Seller-manufacturer’s technical customer service was great, helpful with some confusion about instructions on where to place it (they said it needs airflow, but doesn’t have to be near a window or door, and not 20 inches from walls, as long as nothing slows airflow). They also said that the control panel mode setting will blink while it is defrosting (nothing in the manual), and to not turn it off while it is defrosting. We thought it worked great at first, very quiet for a compressor (why it didnt work right?). Summary — Control panel doesnt always work right. Humidity readings are wrong compared 2 other dehumidifiers and 2 other meters. Defrosts at wrong times. Humidity never reaches setting in space 1/3 rated size. Details — At first, the only problem was that we had to set it 10 points lower than we wanted (at least a 15-point spread, not just 6, the plus or minus 3 that they say). The control panel seemed to act weird at first, resetting itself and other things that seemed to stop after we used each setting once. Then, we turned it off for a while, and in maybe 20 minutes, it said that the humidity rose at least 10 points, back to what it was before we turned it on. Every time, even with fans stirring the air in an open floorplan. So, we tested it against 2 other dehumidifiers and 2 humidity meters. The first time, they all read the same, within a couple points of each other. But then, this machine started ticking up and up until it read at least 25 points above everything else. After a rest, it started defrosting after about an hour on and a couple tablespoons of water at high 60s F and 50s RH. Now, it always reads 10-30 points above everything else when it is off. But even with all these problems, it does dehumidify some, to about 10 feet away. The fan seems barely as strong as our tabletop fans, not nearly strong enough for the size space they say, and not even for a small apartment that is about 1/3 of its rating. Amazon accepted return for refund. Replacing with a new, but louder Amazon brand dehumidifier.

Had this going for a month now. Does great! I like that you can hook the drain hose to it and just let it drain in sink.

Like the sleep mode, it is quiet at night. The drain hose is so short, making it unusable. The hose ID is not standard size, can’t find one in Home Depot. Had to spend another $20 on the hose for gravity draining. It will be nice if it comes with a 10 foot hose.

That's a pretty amazing device. It is much quieter than the other dehumidifier I have, and it is also highly efficient. It only draws about 105W while at full swing. The only odd thing is that it keeps the humidity indicator on even when the device is off. I have to unplug it every night because of the light it emits otherwise.

I bought this five months ago. It’s still going VERY strong and well. I live in an extremely humid state (FL). During the winter, my AC rarely ran, so my house was feeling moist (especially on the tile floors). I bought this and put it in my 1500 square foot living room/kitchen combo. The moisture immediately was gone. I have to dump the water about 1-2x a day (once a day when AC is running). But it’s really easy and I use the water to feed my houseplants. So it’s a double duty machine 😂 I do not notice the noise (it’s actually very quiet) and I have it running 24/7.

We bought this dehumidifier because we live in Southern California, where high humidity isn’t common, but recently our rooms started smelling like mildew. Our carpets, clothes, and sheets were damp, and we wanted a reliable unit we could keep long term for situations like this. When the product arrived, we set it up right away. From the very first moment, it was clear something wasn’t right. None of the buttons worked except for the power button, and even that only worked after wiggling it to get it to switch modes. We tried the auto setting, and it started up showing 86% humidity. After running for 3 hours in a closed 350 sq. ft. bedroom, the reading actually went up to 88%. After giving it more time, the best result we saw was 80% humidity, nowhere close to what a unit of this size should do. Overall, the machine was defective from the start and didn’t deliver on its purpose. We are returning it and will be choosing a different brand that’s more reliable.
